Looks like you guys have your heads in the right place....
Keep posting...
Edit: Kevin... as you add items to your list, double space to make reading easier... I'll set up a sticky later for the list.

Most of my wishlist for BK1 can be found on this thread. Something that I can't help but point out is that probably half of the things on here can only be done in a full 3D world, and many of these were addressed in BK2. I don't know exactly what made BK2 so much less fun to play (It was simply a different game), but if they could capture all of the good aspects of BK1 and transfer them to the BK2 engine, that right there would make half of the wishlist here a reality. Guys, you must assume it will be a 3D engine with a 99.9% of probability, now the question is, will they get a Blitzkrieg I with new features and 3D meshes or will they create something different?

When I made my posts I did not know that BK3 was something already being developed by Nival. From what I can see from the couple of screens thus far they have the look and feel down pretty good. Now that I know that this is an actual game in development, and that they are indeed using a full 3D world, a wish I would toss on to my others would be that they make sure you can ZOOM OUT as far as you like. I mean like Supreme Commander zoom out level. Some games that have come along in the past few years might have grabbed me, except for the limited zoom out. All the designers seem to feel that FPS type tactical combat is what gamers want, but that is not true for us BKrs. We are armchair generals, not armchair privates....

Very good point mogwaii ! it sucks when you have to watch the whole replay to see one little scene at the end. Also i would like to get rid of these "false" replay which apear from time to time Another point : Some players, including myself, enjoy long sessions of multiplayer game. It would be interesting to be able to save multiplayer games in order to continue thereafter. Always more to follow...

I'd like Nival bring back our old great leader, the legendary Lee Campbel... just kidding, but still I'd like

Add shell types: HE, AP. That way you would have deeper tactics, not to mention more realistic approach to the game. You would really feel the difference of Pz IV D firing at a T-34 and firing against a bunker.

And again, Thanks to Von Osten for first starting the list...
And Thanks to you, Kevin, for first consolidating the list...

Another thing that I think would be a worthy feature is the option to use two monitors. Being able to put the mini map and user interface on a second monitor is awesome as anyone familiar with Supreme Commander knows. I see this becoming a standard feature for RTS games soon, the new Total War RomeII has this for instance. A lot of serious gamers already have dual monitors (I do), and as more popular games support this it will become the norm.
Oh also this small suggestion: Finish the darned game before it is released!!! Don't rush it out the door half done like BK was. And of course above ALL else, make the game user moddable!!

The Global Campaign approach of Danzig70 should be considered

The Global Campaign approach of Danzig70 should be considered Agreed. This next suggestion may not be popular with the crowd on this forum, but it would be very popular with the Multiplayer crowd: Have the option of creating factories and some sort of resource system so that maps/scenarios can be made which will play as a real RTS. I am one of the few that is both a hardcore gamer and also interested in the in-depth history and simulation aspects of a game like BK. I think having this as an option is a Win-Win for the mod/military history buff crowd and also for the RTS gamer crowd that want an actual game rather than a simulation. I am sure the Nival people are aware that the BK Multiplayer community is even bigger than the very active BK mod community and including the possibility to make RTS scenarios is a BIG selling feature. Not saying we need another arcade game like COH, just the 4X option for those that are inclined to play an actual game rather than a simulation.
