"Lavochkin kicking butt of Junkers Ju-87 in the new BK III. Absolutely amazing, NIVAL simply keeps on creating quality stuff. Check how LA fighter got a nice paintjob. Nature and lanscape is another story all together - can't wait to position my troops and AT guns in some nice ambush. Anyone remembers German mission from BK I demo?"

That's pretty cool! I still want to know what the map sizes will be like though...

Time for a break, time to put IT and Fortran sideaways for a while and to post a new picture taken from Galyonkin's site:

More great looking screens, thanks for posting. Everything looks good to me except for one thing- the zoom out level. I know I have said this several times, but this is something that bugs me. The view seems to be about the same as Panzers, and that is why that game never grabbed me. Looking at the screen with the windmill, you can see a Wespe preparing to toss a shell over the houses from maybe 50 feet away (instead of a mile away like it should be), just like Panzers. I will be really disappointed if this is the limit of view and you have to use these cartoon like tactics with indirect fire units. I am also curious about the shell you can see coming from the Soviet side that seems to be coming from nowhere. Glitch?

I agree with Jagged Steel regarding Wespe and that arty shell.
Also that Lavochkin looks great.

Love the battle for this small village with the windmill. Tiger II looks great. I totally agree with Jagged Steel. But I think they will unfortuneately do this the PANZERS way

PANZERS had some nice ideas (fighting inside houses was shown), but was too flashy and arcade for my taste. I sincerely hope they won't go that way. One thing i always liked in Blitzkrieg was artillery.

From what I can see from every screen and video released thus far the field of view will be about the same as the Panzers game. I can not understand why they would do this. Being able to see a large portion of the battlefield is what makes BK tactics so fun. With a limited field of view like this you have nothing but a brawl with tanks 100 feet away from each other (just like Panzers). Having an artillery piece engaged in a brawl like that is just ridiculous. For that matter, having tanks engage that close to each other is ridiculous as well. You have 10 tanks (and artillery) fighting each other in the space of a football field. Cmon BK3 team, don't make another failure like BKII!

I really like the graphics, but I agree with you.

So is it and RTS with singleplayer campaign or is it an MMO without a singlelayer campaign and some kind of multiplayer campaign (say World of Warcraft)?
