While there appears to be updates concerning screenshots I am somewhat not enthusiastic about the lack of updates concerning other development spheres of Blitzkrieg III. As of this time there is still no updates on modification development or even on Game file formats/resource editor utilities. It is more and more appearing that the emphasis will be on graphics and less on a balanced and strategic/rts gameplay of that of Blitzkrieg 1. Even in terms of Graphics if you take a close look at the rendering it appears Tessellation is not used which is a shame. Perhaps that would indicate that they seem to be focusing on DirectX 9.0c.
I also believe it is not early in the development cycle to discuss modification tools or even graphics considering that a financial quarter (perhaps even more) has passed since the announcement of the modification.
Perhaps to really capture the market and the niche that it occupies the developers should have focused on Modern conflicts or at least Cold War scenarios. It could then be considered a 'Modern' blitzkrieg that would better reflect the reality of the progress and development on this unnamed Enigma engine sequel.
Regards, I totally agree with you.

2015 will be the 70th year of WW2 victory. Maybe they are heading for that anniversary to launch a WW2 related product.

I hope Nival will release BK3 this year. Also I was pointing at historical marking of Bf.109 fighter tail in this case which is swastika not cross. But they've done it before so I am not surprised.

My fault. I was referring to the last Nephilim comment but I didn't tell it For that concerns swastika, the German law prohibites the use of it with some exceptions. I assume that Nival doesn't want having troubles on selling the game into the German market.

Love the Pershing tank.... And again: The dark graphics...not that "colorful" graphics from nowadays RTS games.

If you are referring to that last screen I think that is an M36 Jackson tank destroyer, not a Pershing tank. I agree that the overall look of the color schemes looks great.

To me... This is superb modeling/texturing work... Some of the best I have seen in the WW2 RTS genre.
BUT
What will the gameplay be like?
Also... The MP encoding? Will it lag like BK1 does in a 2vs2!?
Any figures on a demo?

I find it very funny how Nival approaches the German armor color problem (ie, gray early war, Dunkelgelb+Camo late war). They seem to mix both into 1 skin!! At least on my screen, I can see areas on that Stug which I'd say are gray, and other areas which look more yellow. Lol. As someone mentioned, would be really great to find out just how far the camera can zoom out.

I don't think the colour schemes are mixed. The Dunkelgelb you may see is probably the result of the weathering effect of the units. And, yes how units appear on the screen depends a lot the type of monitor and its settings. All units that have been posted so far have in common that they are really heavily weathered. At least the style is consistent. In fact the style looks very similar to the BK1 units.

Blitzkrieg 3 will definately have its hands full... Look. Release date of February 20, 2014 on STEAM. Makes u realize how outdated BK1 is... HOWEVER! In my eyes... BK1 will remain claSSic! EDIT! - I just realized that the 3 halftracks have different numbers/objects on them... Good games to all... -iLeeT_PeeP
