According to Nival's maketing responsible, Sergey Galyonkin, the B3 developers "hope to show first gameplay video from multiplayer in couple of weeks. "

Wow! Gotta love the way vehicles stay on roads. There must be some way to tell them to ignore roads and go cross country as well. The trains are superb. The tractor plowing the field and steam shovels operating in the mine are nice touches. As far as the scenery goes I think this is beyond what anyone was imagining. One thing that I see that I do not like (still) is that you cannot seem to zoom out very far. Around 3:15 looked like the farthest zoom out, and it was maybe about like Codename Panzers zoom level. All in all this is pretty exciting. I haven't been gaming for 6 months or so, this might get me interested in some screen time though!

I think you are right about the zooming range. I hope they will change that, in combination with very! large! Maps!..And I pray for a large single player campaign, and different battle maps as well..

First gameplay footage looks really nice. The detail with the guy using the axe to make some wood pile is nice. I also noticed really realistic and detailed graphics. Can't wait for the next trailer =)
Is someone able to sum up what the guy is saying about the campaign?

Looks very nice. However what intrigues me is: will there be an early war phase? Cause so far they have mostly shown late war units.

Good question Tedi88, I allso have no idea what the time setting will be. But I expect, when the game turns out succesfull, every period will be covered in add-on maps/campaigns.

I'd like that. Even if they don't cover it in add-on campaigns, there's always modding community that could make models for early war... Of course this also depends if they are going to give us a mapeditor and some kind of unit edior?

I understood two things: 1) At first the main focus will be the Great Patriotic War (so from June 1941 on); 2) There could be a sort of bifurcation: A version of BK III could be either boxed or downloaded and then moddable, another one could be a MMO version, like a sort of World of Tanks. No surprise that mods and thing produced by the community could be used on the MMO version.

Wow, great graphics! I understand that BK III will be available for Windows, Linux & Apple. This is good news as BK is one of the main reasons why I still keep up with Windows. (BK runs under Linux Ubuntu, but PK doesn't) Just lets hope that content created by the modding community will be interchangeable between the 3 platforms.

You guys reckon they'll release mods tools at release, or at all?
