Hello everyone,
I checked again today the link with the tools and found there a link for a download for "Stalingrad" map editor. I know that both games using the same engine and I can use some BK stuff there, but is that possible to transfer Stalingrad content to BK for use it in BK because some of that content would be good for BK. (that do not mean that BK is a bad game)
Same question would be at the game "Talvisota".
Ps: Is there a mod for BK that have new units the winterwar or a talvisota BK mod? I really like that setting but BK is much better as Talvisota or Stalingrad.

If I haven't missunderstood your question, you are wondering whether Talvisota or Stalingrad resources can be transfered to BK. If that's the question, then the answer is 'yes'. Most Mods have got Stalingrad objects and buildings. To transfer such objects, buildings, units, ... you need to add entries for those elements in the Blitzkrieg's objects.xml file and you have to add the elements themselves as a .pak file inside the Run/data folder of your Blitzkrieg. Otherwise, you could create your own Mod, but the procedure is similar.

I need to transfer only the code from A to B? Thats all?
Edit: I have just now notepad to open xml datas and a programm to open pak datas. Work all great and I see everything. Thats not the problem. I miss for Stalingrad and Talvisota a programm how to open a data ".gdb". I found only a programm for what I need to pay money. Could anyone help me with that please? If I would have that I would make some experienents for have better options to make a better mod.

nvm. Maybe more a thing of my newby. I still do not know how to bring an object/unit from game A to game B. Thats a bit difficult to be honest. Ok, let's say you've a unit called TANK, which is a german tank having its files placed on a folder named TANK_folder. You've to do two things:
1. Create, using notepad (for example) a .xml file named modobjects (modobjects.xml). Now add these:
<ObjectDB> <Objects> <item> <name>TANK</name> <type>mesh</type> <game_type>unit</game_type> <path>units\Technics\German\Tanks\TANK_folder</path> </item> </Objects> </ObjectDB>
2. Create a folder named units, placed another one named Technics inside of it, and then German, Tanks and TANK_folder. Now put units and the modobjects.xml file inside another folder (named data, for example) and create a .pak with units and modobjects.xml. That .pak added to your Run/Data folder should add the TANK unit...
Try this and once you get it let me know and we will go for the next step.

Ok I made all what you said.
Now I got an issue. I called that .pak file/folder now finnland because there is already a .pak data what is called data.pak
After I add it in the folder "data" I got a crash if I started the map editor. Do you have any ideas what could be the issue?

It does not work because you placed an infantry unit in a Technics folder. Try to extract a truck or tank and repeat, please.

I am on a weekend trip. I'll be replying you on Monday since I cannot the see file structure at the moment. I'd suggest downloading a single unit patch for BK (Check Boltz's memory or Blitzkrieg en Español, for example), unpacking the .pak and checking what has been done.

This does not work because you packed your files inside a folder named Talvisota. You have to pack directly Units and modobjects.xml.
See the correction I have attached, which works to me. The one you sent (just because of that folder thing) did not even allow the mapeditor.exe to open.

That one work now. I made now something finish for the next step.
I added for example now all russia tanks. Thats worked very well.
I have only 1 issue: The main weapons of the tanks do not work correctly. I have there only the MG what is possible to use with penetration of 1 and damage 1 too. How can I add the main weapons to that game?
I do not know how to fix that issue.
Next stuff what I would like to know is:
What types are:
- Infantry - Airplanes - Buildings (bunkers and wood housed)
- fences
For example tank and arty are "mesh".
