As I previously stated, it's been a long time since I created a BK map, and after spending hours of trial and error, I still cannot remember how to get into the LUA scripting file. I did it one time by accident, but then did not know how I did it. I do recall if I want players to get reinforcements, or any other conditions set in game, I need to know how to do this.

You just need to create a lua file using a text editor. I suggest to use Notepad++. Map and name can have a different name but IMO it's better to use the same name. Eg. MyMap.bzm and MyMap.lua Both files need to be placed in the maps folder of you BK installation. In the map editor you need to link the map to the Lua file. This is done by selecting the icon with an 'A' and a 'wrench'. If you hover over the icon you will see the texts 'set script file name'. The just select the Lua file you created. There are some great guides on how to create map and script Lua. For Scripting Calvin's scripting guide is the reference as it explains the functions that can be used in BK. I made a chm help version of Calvin's guide and added some notes to it. You can find it in my thread 'discussing Lua scripting'. If you can find it then I'll post it for you. kaoz also wrote a very good mapping guide. You'll find guides on his site. www.blitzkrieg.be/

Getting into the LUA File in order to create/alter it was my problem, but I see now what I was doing wrong. When I went to the 'A/Wrench' icon and clicked on the LUA File I wanted, I was hitting open - ok in the pop-up box and it did nothing. What I needed to do was hover over the exact LUA File and open it right there, and not in the pop-up box..
