ooh btw. that mission where you have to take a city (kursk chapter) its interresting but i had some problems with it. my plan was to surround and i did and then kick their asses with artillery. but german reinforcements arrived at a point where i had some forces. so there isnt much space in that map it must be more because i lost a lot of good tanks thanks to that.

For the most part, reinforcements arrive in GPW to prevent computer lag. I hope to fix these issues in V2, if I ever get the timefor it...

Ocelo likes to teleport the enemy reinforcement (he is a big fan of Star Trek). Just kidding . I'm playing this campaign for the second time. And this time, with more patience and some personal changes I'm really enjoing. If you will change the campaign, I suggest eliminate the panzerschreck squads before 44,also I cant understand those Ba-10s and BT-7s, BT-5s and KV-85 in Kursk. Change it for T-34 and the Prokhorovka map will get a lot better. A warehouse will help too, LOL.

What's wrong with KV-85s at Kursk?? BA-10s were used as recon units throghout the war... so wre BT-7s. I don't recall any BT-5s on that map... I'll add a warehouse if there isn't one already. On some missions, though, the lack of a warehouse represents the tough supply situation. Not on most, but a mission I just made for the Moscow Counteroffensive does not have any supplies; the player must capture the field depots from the enemy and use those. Reinforcement: it is to pervent computer lag. I will adjust those a bit, but with the amount of units being used on that map, this would still be necessary.

Ocelo, I really doubt any BT-7 or Ba-10 had survived the 1941-42 catrastophe. Andmy source tells they arent produced after 41... About Kv-85: "According to archival data, 148 KV-85 tanks were produced; they were sent to the front beginning in September 1943." Source: www.battlefield.ru/en/armors/28-heavy-tanks/49-kv85.htmlAs I told you, change the museum tanks and the future tanks to T-34s, remove the panzershracks and you will have a very well balanced mission. P.s.I have a good news: just fixed the problem with the US chapter, a very old and allways forgot bug... With luck,tomorrow I'll send you the files

Great to hear that! ;D Maybe the German chapter now? Its all that's left... I really need those KV-85s for balance- they have a good penetration chance against enemy armor, while those SU-152 shells bounce off too often. And I'm only giving them to the player's core units anyways... BT-7s and BA-10s: Hmm, I think you're right; will replace them for T-60s.

... BTW, I need some advice as to how to add scripted timers on objectives. There you go, from my Hill44 map: CODE: function InitTimer() TimeLeft = 180; Steps = 5; SetIGlobalVar("Timer.0", (TimeLeft-Steps)); DisplayTrace("Time left %g seconds and counting...", TimeLeft); RunScript("Counter", Steps*1000); Suicide(); end; function Counter() SetIGlobalVar("Timer.0", GetIGlobalVar("Timer.0", 0) - Steps); DisplayTrace("Time left %g seconds", GetIGlobalVar("Timer.0", 0)); RunScript("CheckTimeLeft", 100); Suicide(); end; function CheckTimeLeft() if GetIGlobalVar("Timer.0", 0) > 0 then RunScript("Counter", Steps*1000); Suicide(); else DisplayTrace("No more time - The German's convoy is on is way"); RunScript("GermanConvoiStart", 1000); Suicide(); end; Suicide(); end;

I`m tolding you, change everything for t-34s and the map will be really well balanced, I did it with my GPW campaign.
And no, I wont work with german chapters... but I`m sure you can do it by yourself, I believe your allied chapter didnt worked just because of this old bug: avoid use caps any time...

in the mission names, or in the folder, I'm not sure. I think you used the "US' in caps: btw, caps are CAPITAL LETTERS.

Oh, I thought they were perhaps some special term in the Chapter Scripting Languane, lol. ;D Could you email me the revised chapter please? Just for test and reference, thanks. So if my chapter is OK besides that, which I must say is unbelivable, then I'll get to debugging my 'more bugged' German Chapter.

When I finished it I'll send you the chapter. Anyway, I cant 100% guarantee your chapter was ok, cause I made a new chapter structure, but I believe that was the problem.
In the old BKP portal I made a thread "debbuging a chapter", meaby you should get a copy of this with someone. Good luck, BB
