@mp excellent answers! Thanks for the profound and professional explanations. I am re-considering SCW mod units use and find many units from WWII came much earlier to spain with a time machine and try to correct some. thanks again.

ahhaha, there're a lot of professionals here!!! anyway, also an ignorant like me can understand something through MP teachings. generalhwparadoxically, i prefer the textures (for many vehicles and infantries) of the previous version of SCW mod rather than the redux. you're going to include in your mod also this war scensario?

You are not ignorant my friend... there are just some things you don't know yet....
Fords are just about ready. Sorry about the delay, I overdid it for a couple of days and needed time to recover...

... TransportRuCapacity="35000.0" <----------- This is the total capacity of a transport truck (in RU). ... SoldierRUPrice="3500.0" <------------- This is the cost (in RU) of a Soldier from ResupplySoldier ... Quite an interesting post Major and indeed a lot to consider. You refer total capacity of a transport truck (in RU). What does RU stand for ? RU = Resupply Units <---- I'm not sure why or how it got this translation except... if you call it a Supply Unit (SU) then it may get confused with a truck. Assuming the payload weight of a truck is about 5000 pounds (2.5 tons) / 2270 kg, and the Engineer/Reloader can carry 5000 RU, I estimate 1 RU weighs about 7 pounds / 3.17 kg. The Truck Capacity is set at 35000 RU. This means an Engineer/Reloader unit can carry about 714 pounds / 324 kg. While that is not possible without a cart or device to carry the weight... it works out that a 2-man crew can make 7 pickups and deliveries, or 3.5 each. It appears one will carry 4 and the other 3, depending on the distance they must travel. When you look at the ammo load on various armed units, the capacity used versus the Repair/Resupply Cost will determine the weight of the ammo. Because we have not been given a formula, we must assume that if the Repair/Reload cost = 1, then each round would weigh the same for all gun types. If you need 1000 rounds of 7.62 and 20 rounds of 75mm, the 1000 7.62 will weigh 50 times more than the 20 75mm rounds. All things being equal... to resupply the ammo would require 10,200 RU or about 2 times what the Supply guy can carry. I base this on the Repair/Reload Cost is multiplied by 10. Testing seems to indicate that is about as accurate as I can get. None of this matters a tinker's damn. I was just curious about the dynamics at work. I don't suggest getting all wrapped up on the truck capacity or what the Engineer/Reloader can carry. All of this can be modified so it makes more sense. If I was the one writing the original code, I'd align the RU to a simpler Weight Unit and lower the weight that a Engineer/Reloader can carry to about 200 pounds. That would mean more trips back to the truck, and it would take longer, but it would be more logical. I'm sure the reason we have this is to speed the repair/reload process up. Just one of those behind the scenes formulas that gets my attention.

I’ve done or participated doing four mods, i.e. SPS, SCW redux (personal modification), NA (with Ocelo) and Asian Typhoon (with Corpbob). These four are my main interests, of which SPS is the foremost. But I am switching off and on with the four mods. SCW redux’s textures are mainly done by Von_Luger, but he’s been absent for a long time. I like his works. I’m researching SCW’s units these days and found many units in the mod improper like Opel blitz. So I’m correcting them. BTW, SPS will be available for you by the end of this month though there is still a lot of work unfinished. Sorry, MP, so many off-topic words in your place.

It's no problem General... My place is always open for discussions like this... I'm thinking about bringing in a large pickle barrel and putting a checkerboard on it... We used to go down to the mercantile and watch the old timers play checkers and swap stories... Those were good old days...

Peanut-butter-jelly-time! Thanks for good news, Major! Do you plan to change vanilla BK Humbers? Don't know about all guys on this forum, but vanilla one (Humber) look quite pathetic to me after all those fancy tanks, GMC's, etc we got from you and other model makers in HD. Anyway, we're waiting for the next wave of updates from you!

UPDATE: I received a report that the Ford Long Beds (1G8T) models have the incorrect tow point. I am resolving and will upload corrected Series soon. Sorry, I thought this had been corrected. The Chevy Series now have the icon.tga included with a few issues corrected.
A few more Fords: UK Germany These will be ready for download soon...
There will be a delay on the M4 Heavy Series... I'm still working on icon.tga files and found a couple of issues to resolve.
I'm sorry for the model releases that have issues. Apparently the drugs were really affecting my short term memory. I'd update a master file and forget to correct the Release folders. I found that was the case in the Chevy's. The moral is don't try to drive a computer while on drugs... At least I was at home.
