Question : what's happen if the guy -who has BK1 : GEN II installed on his computer- has his motherboard and his hard disc out at the same time (ok it's rare but it can happen), the guy must buy a new motherboard and a new hard disc, is there will be a way for him to install again GENII in his new computer ? Important question, many of us make our hardware upgrades. If I purchase the original game, I think this like many other games, they can be installed on as many machines one needs in the future, always have your ID product code infinitely. I bought the original "BlitKrieg I" and subsequent expansions since 2004 and have always been able to install the game on all hardware that have acquired over time. Will this continue to be so?

Yes, unbelievable - but it is a fact. I want to say that the team GZM - this is not the Russian team. Guide Team - the citizens of Belarus and Ukraine. Among its permanent membership only two people citizens of the Russian Federation. From these two people, only one Russian.

This was a long-time ago but it was a boxed version of GZM 5.55 along with Blitzkrieg called something similar to "Blitzkrieg Total War". I can't recall the name exactly but it was being sold in Russian websites and language. Yes you're right Nephilim and i remember the name now, it was Blitzkrieg Total Conversion.

If the Motherboard and drive should fail, the Key can be reset so it can be installed or restored. Also, the GEN2-Install.exe can be used to restore the original game Files at any time on the Registered Machine. In other words, as long as you are restoring or reloading, or even correcting folders and files, GEN2-Install.exe can be run indefinitely on the Registered Machine.
I am considering a Reset so the Registered Game Release can be installed on a new machine at some point. Since I can not confirm that a computer is retired, any new System Information would overwrite the original Registered System. This means the data will reflect the new Computer ID Data. If someone wishes to install GEN II to a different computer, new or just different, a Reset can be made to allow GEN II to install on the New Machine. The USER is compelled to remove or uninstall the original Computers game files by using GEN2-Uninstall.exe. This version would be in conflict with the second install on a different machine. This would violate the Terms of Use and the USER's License. So this is an honor thing where I must trust someone to do the right thing.
But ultimately... obtaining a 2nd Keyed Version is not going to be that hard... as you likely read in the previous posts. If you have a legitimate purpose, then I will send you a new KEYED Version of GEN II. My main concern is USERS that do not have the ability to play the game. So I have no intention to ever limit the total number of KEYED Versions, whether this is 200 or 20,000. I just do not want someone else to define the destiny of GEN II.
GEN2-Install.exe grabs the Machine Identity and ID Data and then sets up the Installation of the Game Folders. The Installation Folder is in the C Folder by default, but the USER can change the Drive letter (ONLY) in the case of a 2nd Internal Drive or an External Drive. The Root Game Folder is always named the same:
All of these are acceptable Installation Folders.:
C:\Blitzkrieg I Generation II D:\Blitzkrieg I Generation II E:\Blitzkrieg I Generation II F:\Blitzkrieg I Generation II G:\Blitzkrieg I Generation II H:\Blitzkrieg I Generation II
The Correct Folder Name is also a default since the Game Files will not be located properly if not in the proper installation folder. The Drive does not matter. Once Installed, the Installation Program will ask the USER to enter the 16-Digit KEY.
The only restriction is trying to to run GENII.exe from another System if the Drive is a shared by more than one Computer. Network Drives should not be used for the Game Folders since it might be possible to attempt to run from a Shared Drive, if the Game Folders are not protected.
Verify.exe checks the Registered System ID and the Key ID which is Stored within a Encrypted File in the Game Files. If the Data matches with the Keys, then the game will run. If the Data does not match the Keys, then the USER has the chance to back away and exit, 'only once'. If the USER continues to attempt to run the game on a Non-Registered System, REDACT.exe will be run and...
* remove the game run files along with all Game Code as well as the Game Engine, * remove the Registration key, and all Windows Registry * Reset the Directory Data on the Drive by overwriting with Nulls.
This will make the game inoperable:
Permanently Or Until a Reset is Conducted by Installing a patch.
Only the Data Folders will remain with the Object and Unit Files.
If the REDACT.exe was run due to a mistake, the Key can be Reset to allow a Fresh Install of the Game Folders. I added this after some additional thought on the issue. The USER must contact the GateKeeper to explain the purpose or mistake. The GateKeeper will be charged with ensuring game files remain secure. I will not be the GateKeeper. This will be a person who understands the process and can identify the various issues involved.
If someone wishes to provide an alternative to this approach, then by all means please do so... I have an open-mind for securing the Game Files. I only selected this method because it absolutely prevents Copying or Sharing.
One more thing: DLC, which is Downloadable Content, will be added frequently as new Factions or Units are added. These type of Files can be copied and shared between USERS. The only part of GEN II that I am trying to prevent Illegal Copies is the Game Code and UI Indexes.
These files and codes have been developed over a two year period and offered to the USERS free, along with the Objects and Units.
I have done about 90% of the work myself, (a few Artist have provided Skins which will be used, with more adopted as we get closer to ALPHA TESTING).
I am sensitive to Piracy Issues from experience in the past. But because this is my Ultimate Master Project for this Community, and something never before seen, I think I reserve the right to strip game codes and Directory Data when an attempt is underway to perform any action deemed Improper or Illegal.
Again, would it seem reasonable to assume that an attempt to circumvent the protection or copy the game might be performed for the purpose of undermining the project or offering this version for Sale?
If any of you had spent a huge amount of your time creating a Unique Game Version, would you not take exception if it were stolen from you and the Legal USERS?
The only reward for me is that I will give something to the Blitzkrieg Players that expands our beloved game. It is not something that can be compared to any of my other works. It is the exception to my typical work.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I welcome all opinions on this. I can only learn how you feel or what you think if you share it with me. I am not trying to keep this from any members in the Community. But unless I have a method to maintain Unique Keys and Security at the same time, then my work would be prostituted widespread. This is not something I would be in favor of.
I could make bold statements and claim this will be the best Blitzkrieg ever released. But that would be false perhaps. Only the USERS and PLAYERS can decide that.
I could make a bold claim that I will change Blitzkrieg singlehandedly. Again, this is likely a incorrect statement since only YOU will decide this.
I can hope that the game is well accepted and popular, but this Project has only been possible because NIVAL Interactive paved the way.
I really do not think of GEN II as mine.... but rather the Communities and YOURS. I am only the conduit that made it possible. After it is tested thoroughly and released, your input will decide how the game is accepted.
Perhaps it will be a huge flop and disaster and a complete waste of my time. I surely do not want to see that. I have more hours than I could ever calculate in the Project. BUT... I will state that GEN II will not make everyone happy. Some are surely to hate it if it does not feel like Blitzkrieg. Some may love it. I have no way to predict this and can only wait for the comments to start to flow.
Whatever the outcome ultimately is... it has been a huge pleasure to work on a Project of this magnitude.
Since it will likely be the pinnacle of my work for Blitzkrieg, and perhaps my final large Project ... I will either retire as the Stallion or the Ass. Time will tell...

For my part, I am well informed. If I need more than one original copy of the program in the future, I will not mind me pay, the problem may be the power to find and acquire. I do not doubt their work, for I am watching your effort with models that are creating, I think the game will be at the same height and competitiveness. I'll wait events. Thank you, for your dedication and attention to us all.

major, also christ left us, not with a rich and pompous victory, but with a great dignify and glorious defeat. few understood him once, and very few now, despite he gave his life and all his love for our freedom and unconditional love. i mean, not all good is often rightly appreciated, instead.

But let me correct you...
He did not leave us...
He is still very much with us.
Only His body left this earth
He was not defeated... He fulfilled his destiny.
He was victorious over those that vanquished His Earthly Body.
His Blood was spilt, though He hast no use for it. He giveth it to us.
He walks with us on our journeys throughout our lives.
Oh yeah, Oh yeah...
Shout Praises to the Christ each day as He watches over me.

Let's leave all those talks about religion aside, guys. It's quite a slippery way that can lead to a BIG quarrel. I don't think we need a jihad of any kind in such a peaceful place like this forum.
