Thanks guys...
I haven't seen the Bergpanzer so I don't know what they did to it or the other units it towed. I would like to see it to compare the code. Maybe someone broke the code another way.
I took a break today from the tow tank to work on a project for someone else. I'll get back to it today. I think i will let them post a picture if they wish... otherwise, I believe it (they) may be included in a mod.
Desert & runrum: I don't know if several units can be linked/towed yet. I assume that the same code that trains use can be employed but I haven't found that answer yet. I have taken another course and still looking for any other secrets that are associated with towing units.

No one created a Bergpanzer with towing ability. That was just someones idea at the time. You made it possible right now.

@mp, you should skin your Sherman recovery vehicle as a captured unit as well. The Germans liked them for their towing abilities and reliability.

darwin... I thought about that. Many of the Shermans that were captured were overpainted quickly, most with black or brown paint with very large markings on them. They didn't want to be shot at by their own panzers...
They couldn't put most Allied Tanks into battle since they did not have the capability to manufacture ammo... Once the supply was out, they abandoned the tank... or used it for a prime mover. The M32, as you correctly pointed out, was one of the favorites. It was more reliable than anything they had.
I was thinking about building a PzIV Recovery Tank (Bergpanzer). I have been looking at some pictures to see what they did. There doesn't seem to be a single standard... but a lot of field modified versions built from damaged Ausf B & D. I found one Pz38 listed, but I am sure there were more. The major difference between Allied and German recovery tanks was the Germans just removed a turret and added a boom and block hoist. Same principal, just a bit different.
The addition of these models provides some aspects not possilbe before... but I still haven't totally broken the code just yet. The towed tank is still not a tank by BK standards... it just looks like one. Still have much work to do.

Actually, as I recall, someone did something similar with a Panther (using a death skin as a normal skin) and a bregepanther. I'm pretty sure it was made by someone in the GZM team, but no 100% sure. They faced the same limitations, though, and the idea was dropped. Anyways, engineering tanks with towing abilities are great to have in any case.

Kudos on the Shermans, especially working out the tow option for a tank and the recovery vehicle. Something that has long been on my "unit wishlist" is an African Theater tank or two with tow capability, but the trade-off with losing the attack/advance abilities might limit the overall function as a tank in the game. While your reddoing some of the lesser detailed models from original BK, might I suggest an accurate re-model of the Grant/Lee ? That tank is the biggest "incorrect scale" violator in the whole game IMO. and a sharp new model from your skilled keyboard would be a great addition to the BK unit roster.

Thanks...
The Grant/Lee is on my list. I agree that it is out of scale. I find it funny since the M4 Sherman was developed from the M3 Tracks and Chassis.
In reality, the Grant/Lee was a little bigger, but you need a tape measure to really see it. Sherman was only longer by .25m.
Grant / Lee : L=5.64m / W=2.72m / H=3.12m M4 Sherman: L=5.89m / W=2.62m / H=2.74m
And by the way... how did you know my keyboard was responsible for the talent? That was a closely guarded secret. Thank you for the high praise... I will try to be worthy of those kind words.

By "keyboard" I meant "you" of course MP, but I guess you realize that. Glad to hear that you are going to fix the Grant?Lee (M3) Model, keep up the good work!

Since I'm still ''new'' member, I didn't know you are a good modeler Major.
I have one interesting idea.
Can you create something simple for me? Well, I hope it's simple.

Sorry, been a bit busy lately. I have been working on upgraded versions of the Vickers 6Tons and related Versions. In the works: Vickers MkIII-B, Polish 7TP, Finnish T26E, USSR T26B, T26S. The USSR AT-1 SPG will come along later. EDIT-> UPDATED Wasn't a great light tank but there were many on the early battlefields...
