In Lua... a semi colon means "end of line".
In Lua 4.0 (BK Version), the semi colon is optional. You can actually leave it off altogether. All lines are automatically ended at the end of the line.
C++ Programmers use the semi-colon and usually include the semi-colon in Lua. The optional use of the semi-colon was by design in LUA.
Colons are a separator or an operator, as in mathmatical formulas or expressions. exp ::= number
Commas will cause a crash if placed at the end of the line. They are only used to separate data within an expression. RunScript("Holeziel1", 3000, 1);
Lua was first introduced in 1993 in Brazil. Lua 4.0 which we use was developed in 2000. Lua translates to "moon" in Portugese.

Major, I don't know if this can be changed, but I will ask.
Is there any way to get the engineer's to lay more than one mine each and placed separately? I was thinking if it was possible to just set out an area like with trenches and they would lay the mines continuously in the entire area defined until completed without each mine laid one at a time by me?
Thanks for taking my question.
Hope you are feeling better.

Atlas555, Maybe I do not understand what it is you want to do so forgive me if this sounds stupid, but could why not just hold down the SHIFT key when laying mines?

Atlas555 You can do that now by holding shift key and use right mouse to position mines, then release shift. Done

In CMC, minesweepers act as required by Atlas55. It defines a square are where the mines will be placed and then proceed. I think it's another code improvement existing only in CMC (as self-entrenching infantry) which would be very welcome in BKGII.

Holy Cow!?! All these years and all I had to do was shift\right mouse. Brilliant. However I was trying in not to clear a way was have the mines places as stated by Mascarenhas mainly. A defined square. Self entrenching infantry almost give me an orgasm.

And this is my hope too, I mean, self-entrenching infantry; of course...

I have to say: Quintaxel option is the correct one. SHIFT key or hold up arrow, choose type of mine we want and put all the mines you want with the left mouse button where you want, then release SHIFT key and the engineer begins to put the mines where we said. By the way, keep in mind that when we give this order, the engineer must be in rest position, should not be in active. That's the right way, I think that explains Quintaxel in my opinion. A greetings to all.

I am curious if there are more cool tricks hidden in BK. I know one with mortars and HMG crew . You can load them on supply trucks just like infantry simply by pointing at truck while they are moving.

Atlas, for recon plane, you can also use shift to send plane to various points on the map

Sztyrlic, sounds like a neat trick hat adds realism to the game. It makes perfect sense that units can be loaded on a supply truck. Maybe we should open a new thread where we can post BK tips/tricks ?

The "Alt" or "Alt Gr" key, per example if you have 4 tanks selected, who are aligned in one line : by maintaining the "Alt" or "Alt Gr" key then a right click somewhere, your units takes position in formation (there's just one formation available). Works for all ground units. By maintaining "Alt" key and right click of the mouse and slithered the cursor you can orientate your units. Sometimes one of your unit block another one. I''m using this with infantry, i always disband squads because i don't like their behavior, when you select a group of 10 soldiers from a disbanded squad then send them somewhere they try to keep the same position they had before you give your order. If you use the "Alt" or "Alt Gr" key when you order them to move, they take this formation when arriving at destination : With infantry you can also ordered them to enter in a building occupied by the ennemy, by maintaining "Alt Gr" and right click on the building. If after this you ordered them to take the assault formation they will directly entered in the building (they never creep) and engage a close combat with the ennemy in the building.

Atlas, for recon plane, you can also use shift to send plane to various points on the map To bombers and paratroopers, does not work. For all other aircraft, it can be a very profitable strategy. Greetings friend
