Hell of a mission, superb design, lots of unexpected situations and surprises. Nice example of contemporary BK mapping design. Lightyears from the old vanilla days. Sometimes I felt uneasy with some gun specs, Vickers 1912 MG x Maxim MG, for one, should have the same performance -or not?

Normandy near St.Lo, July 24th 1944 Game: BK Map: 21x21 MOD: Frankreich40'mod + patch 17-46 ( ! before 12-1-24 Patch31 was missing here) + Patch47&Patch48+ Patch49+ F44 setting Author: Mr.Frost72 Season: Summer Year: 1944 Player: US Army AI: German Army. American Operation Cobra (July 24th to August 4th) Simultaneously with the advances of the other allies, the Americans attempted to break out of their bridgehead on July 24th, which in the following days penetrated in the west to cut off the Cotentin Peninsula as far as Avranches. In the east, US units quickly broke through the German front with Operation Cobra after an initial delay, which ultimately led to the Falaise pocket with the help of the British, Scots and Canadians fighting north. The unforeseen great success of the operation led to a change of plan by Montgomery on August 4th, which broke off a further advance west to the Atlantic ports in favor of a rapid advance to the east. Beglium, 14th May 1940. The Gembloux Gap Game: BK Map: 24x18 MOD: Frankreich'40 mod+patch11 to patch49 + F44Msetting Author: KeepItSimple Season: Summer Year: 1940 Player: French army AI: German army Background On May 10, 1940, a daring group of German parachutists descended on the mighty Belgian fortress of Eben Emael, compelled its surrender, and opened the way for the German Army’s drive into Belgium. The French High Command believed Eben Emael would hold for a least five days, but now German forces poured into Belgium far earlier than anticipated. The crack XVI Corps, consisting of the veteran 3rd and 4th Panzer Divisions, the 20th Motorized Division, and the 35th Infantry Division, led the German advance. The panzers drove straight for the Gembloux Gap, a traditional invasion route into northern France. The first French force to arrive in the area was the Cavalry Corps, under General Rene Prioux, consisting of the 2nd and 3rd DLMs (medium-weight armored divisions). The French cavalry established hasty blocking positions in front of the Germans. This lead to tank battle of Hannut. The French First Army, comprised of the 2nd North African Division, the 1st Motorized Division, the Moroccan Division, and the 15th Motorized Division, followed the cavalry, establishing a line in the vicinity of the town of Gembloux. When they arrived on the battlefield weary and needing rest, but as events determined, they would not get any. Prioux, expecting to find fighting and blocking positions for his armor prepared in advance by the Belgians, was dumbfounded when he discovered that almost nothing had been done. Footsore French infantrymen, expecting to move into prepared defensive positions around Gembloux itself, found they had to dig their own holes and lay their own obstacles straight off the march. Source: warfarehistorynetwork.com/article/the-1940-battle-of-gembloux[F40Mv]GemblouxA small bug with the Terrot_RDA motorbike. This temporary fix will be included in next patch file.
