Here is a very small download, FieldSets.rar. It includes four extra fields only. There are:
- Africa\FieldOfScrub - For the desert, a mix of Oasis and Grass, to give you a field of tufts of grass. Good for Tunisia and anywhere near water; - Summer\FieldOfTrees - Gives you a thicker array of all the standard summer trees, for heavier forests; - Summer\FieldOfMines - A solid array of mines, with about two-thirds of them being AT mines. You will have to change the mines from Player 0 to Player 1. This field can be used in any season; - Summer\ItaliaPineForest - a heavy forestation strong on pine trees, excluding the lighter-coloured deciduous trees, and with a more arrid forest floor.
If you create a scenarios folder in your Run\data folder and place the FieldSet folder in that, then you will be able to add the included fields to any map in the MapEd. No need to add anything to any Objects.xml/Modobjects.xml file.
Any suggestions on other fieldsets that are needed?

Fieldset Summer\Field00 is pretty heavy on bushes. To the point that, after posting the last bunch of fields, I went to my other computer and created a Fieldset Summer\Steppe, with was Field00 with the bushes either eliminated (I hate the really large bush) or drastically reduced.
bb, I'm not quite sure what you want. The "black grass" (I always thought it was a leafless bush, but it's rather long and straight for that) is one of the few summer items that can be used in all seasons, but just that one item can get awfully repetitive very quickly. If you have it with any of the green stuff - bushs, flowers - it looks terrible in the winter. You could combine it with the stump and dead trees to make something you could use in any season, but why?

Revised Blitzkrieg Context FilesThese are the standard context files modified to use the best units to make the selection of vehicles and soldiers as appropriate to the campaign as I can, given what is available in the game and my knowledge of what equipment was available when.
For the Germans and Allies, the Africa or Tobruk folder has been changed from sorting by difficulty to sorting by date. The equipment featured in Easy is for the November '41 Crusader battles; the Normal has equipment for the July '42 Gazala battles, and the Hard is for the late-'42 Alamein battles.
Some of the Allied context files have been split into two. Normandy, Italy, Tunisia and Ardennes originally contained mixed U.S. and U.K. infantry and equipment. The original file has been retained with what for me seemed the logical choice, or a matter of preference. In most cases, an extra folder has been added containing the units of the troops that were not included. For example, for the Allies there is Tunis containing only U.K.items. There is also TunisUS, with U.S. troops and equipment.
Several new folders for the Germans and Soviets have been included. These give equipment for the 1944 and 1945 fighting that was left out of the original context files/folders.
If you want to use context files for your chapters, find the appropriate folder, extract the context.xml file and add it to your chapter in the appropriate place.
If you want to run the standard Blitzkrieg campaigns with a better mix of troops and equipment, just drop the Scenarios.pak file into your Run\data folder of Blitzkrieg.
I have some context files for Rolling Thunder as well. I will post them here some time soon.

A new revised version of Major Pain's Units (Disabled: see below) for Blitzkrieg only features a complete objects.xml included in it. This way it will not conflict with any other files containing a modobjects.xml. MP's Italian buildings have been included, as well as von Osten's, making it a full set.
Also included is a mission, Poland, which features many of the German and Polish units MP gave us.
Here is the version of Major Pain's Units (Disabled: see below) for Rolling Thunder, complete with objects.xml. There have also been some of tgd's French units included for the mission below.
As a trial for it, here is Belgium, a mission using many of the MP and tgd French and German units.

Re: MPUnits above: I have been having the worst time loading a couple of missions, and I discovered it was because the 1.xml for the GB_BE_Scammell_Pioneer_BD is faulty. I had corrected that previously, but somehow the old version crept into the up/download. I will put the corrected version in a later download.

I have created a unit add-on of interesting original items from the SchnellSchuss site. These are - strangely enough - all German units, including a lot of aircraft. Many of the items - especially tanks and SPGs - include 2 to 3 versions of the same thing.
Place the .pak file in your Run\data folder. This should work with any of the standard Blitzkrieg games. It contains a modobjects.xml file, so it may conflict with anything else in your Run\data folder with a modobjects.xml.
I cannot find any credits in the downloads indicating who exactly created these units. From the format of the units and the downloads, I would guess that there are either two or three individuals involved, but unfortunately I cannot name them.
You might like to check out the site, even if you can't read German. There are lots of interesting buildings and objects there as well that have not been released elsewhere, plus a great collection of most of the major mods. It's a good and interesting source. I may try to make a release of the buildings and objects later if I have time.

You'll find the Horten aircraft in my SchnellSchussUnits download above. You'll also find all sorts of interesting German equipment, such as a Hanomag armoured halftrack carrying a quad 20mm AA gun. There's also all sorts of interesting terrain and simple objects that I haven't even looked at yet (not included with the SchnellSchussUnits.)
However, I downloaded a set of Russian buildings and set them up for Blitzkrieg, but they don't show up. Something wrong somewhere.

As you very well know Louis, I am pretty slow witted when it comes to this stuff. When I drop the .pak into my data folder, will the units automatically come into play ? If I start a new German Campaign for instance ?? Or is it more complicated ......... like doing something with the original files ??

No, the units will not automatically come into play, with the exception - if I remember correctly - of the M2/M3_Halftruck_USA. The rest you will have to use in the MapEd to replace other units, or to put onto a new map of your own.
Alternately, you can take individual unit file folders and name them the same as the existing units in BK - as I did with the M2 and M3 - and have them show up in place of them, but that's another matter.
If you need instructions on how to do this, I can oblige.

@sturmbannführer, here are the instructions you asked for. I put them elsewhere in hopes of not cluttering up this thread too much.
