I've a tip. If there are untranslated maps left(Like the custom GZM maps), you can do the following trick, it can be annoying but it's better than nothing. So you take a screenshot of the mission objective or whatever is in russian in game. A tip is to press ESC and open the "Objective" panel then take a snapshot of that. (Even hovering over stuff to display the russian text, like over units etc works) then that pic you put it here translate.yandex.com/ocr , select Russian to english. Then after the image loads you move the cursor over the russian text and you get a translation. This is reliable because you can do it while playing as well. Like you get an objective in the corner, you pause then do it and since it's a screenshot you know the exact area of that said text is, so it's not as confusing as just copy pasting all text in google translate. Plus I have no idea how to pull that text out and google translate it so.. to have it pick all the words, use better image quality screenshots. .BMP etc. Avoid using JPG and such. I've noticed it picks almost all the words on BMP. You can also hold click and drag over text in the screenshot so you do not have to click every word. I use it often especially to read the unit type at the bottom of the screen since it's in cyrillic. ps : It seems that u can click on the left side top and select "Blocks" instead of LINES near the zoom in and zoom out symbols. This seem to translate words that are not always picked. Experiment with all options Otherwise i'd much prefer it all translated in game but I hope this helps!

I've been trying to translate this mod for the better part of a year (not just copy pasting from Google Translate, but actually editing whatever comes out to make it more readable). Most of the unit descriptions look like they were just lifted out of Wikipedia...
Do you guys prefer to get those long text entries, or the simpler ones that vanilla Blitzkrieg used with basic specifications?

Basic specifications are OK I guess. I also take the unit information directly from Wikipedia for unit descriptions and mention the source at the end of the description. Keep up the good work!

That's good to know. It's also pretty annoying to have to go through all the mission files to translate the text that appears ingame, but slowly and surely

I'll work on translating as well. Appears to me that the 1st mission of the allies is in russian except the intro, so I'll start with that. Will update the main english pak with what I do and will post it here along with whatever missions I find missing translations. Maybe translate more objects and unit descriptions as well.

i've translated a bunch and added some missing missions, but as I've posted on the GZM forum (the english part) I can't figure or find the location of some RANDOM MAPS that play during the german campaign. Like you pass some Historical missions then a random mission pops and it's in russian. I've looked in the omega pak and in the gzm patch 3 one, but I can't figure the exact same location of those random maps and it pisses me off don't like the idea of having mid game random missions that are in a foreign language. GZM 9 will have a different pak order i was told so there translation of the missions should be made easier as in the sense where they're not spread thinly everywhere.
