I have downloaded both from Legacy. the Ernst Barkmann will show up in the list in the hard drive. I can't find it when I load the game (BK). Does it show up with a different name when you load the game/ list?
The other problem I am having has to do with the Battle of Britain. I can't play it. when I go to load it, it crashes. When I get to the desktop the error message is gone. So I can't tell you what the error message said.

Ok, I got the "error" message. For the Battle of Britain, problem. It reads like this. The instruction at "0x00426952" referenced memory at "0x00b4ca48" memory could not be read. Still can't figure out the "barkmann" problem YET.

That type of error means there is a conflict when the game is reading the objects.xml or the modobjects.xml.
In other words, if an object is not located at a specific path, then it crashes. Alternately, if the loader cannot find the required file name, (i.e. 76mm_M1), then it will crash.
Depending on how the Mod File or .pak file is presented for use, will determine how the modobjects.xml will be loaded. But if the modobjects.xml is located in the wrong folder, then it would also crash.
I need a better detail of how your folders are arranged and what type of file the Missions are in, (.pak, zip, or in the Mod folder).
In some cases, you must have a specific mod or add-on in order to play a game. I'm not familiar with either so I don't know the answer on this issue. You must read any documentation or read me files included to determine this.

Battle of Britain has a modobjects.xml file, so must be present in the Run\data folder. I believe it also uses Rolling Thunder and not Blitzkrieg I.

Louis what is GB-1940? I went to Legacy and found the Battle of Britain listed with Miscellaneous files with Missions/ GB-1940 right there next to it. It said nothing about RT. Also, yes it does have the modobjects.xml file. The Ernst Barkmann has modobjects.xml file and mod.xml. All of the files are in .pak, after being unzipped.

Hi,
Ernst Barkmann is a small mod, so in first you must to create a folder "Ernst Barkmann" in your mods folder then create a "data" folder in this one and put the .pak file in this data folder then run the game and load Ernst Barkmann (that you should seen in the mods list) and finally go to Custom mission

If you are still having problems with Battle of Britain, try this version. There was a version out that was missing a reference in the modobjects.xml file, and you may have picked that up, if you got it from some "legacy" site.
