I can retexture some more. Concerning the wheels, leave this one as an onmodified 155mm, I make a variation with the other wheels as well.

I realize that i have made a mix between english and french for unmodified i wrote non-modified About the wheels, the 155mmGPF gun from the first world war had 4 wheels while the modified version had 6 (in road position i mean) and the carriage is different but after all it's just some details, i can send you some colored pictures where we can see the camo paint on the 155mmGPF used by the germans on the atlantic wall, maybe it could inspire you But the one that we see above is very good too

Mazka: I am impressed how far your skills have come since you left my mentoring. You have performed quite well my young friend. Please don't shy away from things that seem difficult or impossible. That is the difference between a good model builder and a great model builder. You sir have the making to be one of the greats. So please continue to overcome your own doubts and fears. ****************************************************************** It is better to try and fail, than to never try. You can only know failure if you have tried as hard as you can and failed. If you do not try, then you do not know failure, you only know doubt in yourself. Just because you have never tried to do something is not an excuse to not try. Through failure, there is success if you never give up. For you will only know success when you have succeeded. You have succeeded. ****************************************************************** Everything I have ever done in my long life started with the first step. I never thought that I would be a Fire Chief one day. I was happy being a firefighter on the search team or the fire attack team. But as I became older, my body could not continue to perform. The years took a toll my my legs and back, so I had to slow down and do other things if I wished to continue to serve. I m now in my 43rd year, and it has been one of the best things I ever did. I can truly say I made a difference... I saved houses and lives and that makes up for all of the failures when we could not save either. The job is hard but I would not change one day of my life for it is what made me what I became. About ten years ago, I picked up this game called Blitzkrieg. Because I am inquisitive by nature, I wanted to know everything I could learn about the game. As I have written extensively about the game, and created models, I feel that my world is complete because of what I bring to the game and the community. When I started to dig into the game workings, it started with the first step. It took time to break the codes and inner workings. Now what I provide saves new users all of that hard work and time. And it was not just me, but many others working on the same issues. So this is not about me, or you... it is about the community. So what I see in you is the same excitement and desire to share as I feel, as I always have. Don't lose that my friend. It will be the guys like you, and the ones that will follow you that will keep our game new and exciting. So carry one and you will be listed among the greatest artist of all time in our little world. Bravo... The Old Guy...

Hi Mazka and ScyooffIf this true then the 155MMGPF should also have Long Tom ranges. The present weapon file is 155mm_m1_usa which is range file for the USA 155 mm howitzer, the Long Tom has the following weapon file: 155mm_m1a1_usa.

Hi KeepItSimple,
155mmGPFT (with Touzard carriage, 6 wheels on road position), Maximum range : 21000 meters.
155mmGPF (1918 version, 4 wheels on road position), Maximum range : 19500 meters
GPF is the abrevation for Grande Portée Filloux who means in english : High Range Filloux (Filloux is the name of the conceptor).
Best regards,
Scyooff
Edit : and if my memory is good the Americans had some 155mmGPF guns in 1918, and bring back them to America after the First World War, and i had read that they were inspired by this gun when they developped the Long Tom (but i don't know if it's really true).
Edit number 2 : sorry, this don't answer to your question directly but i think Mazka took the file to make a quick test, after it's up to the modders to create a new weapon file.

Hi Scyooff,
Thanks for the info.
To all modders; the USA-howitzer has maximum range of 14.600 meters, the Long Tom of 23500 meters. I tested both and they both look great, so it up to you what to take.

Hi Mazka, The recoil looks great. Also the position of the gun on the undercarriage looks much better. (Top gun in picture below) There is however one small thing which still needs to be adjust. Because you change the position of the gun the gunpowder effect at the end of the guns barrel now hangs in the air. Edit: This problem is solved! Thanks Mazka.
