Well, fuel was present in Sudden Strike if remember correctly. Also i agree on all points made. But arty should be a little less precise. They were not laser bombs after all (well except in direct fire role).

I stand corrected then. Of topic: Also maybe someone can correct me, but is there some kind of compilation SS games? Cause i remember playing one such version and it was in Russian, but it title was in English.

One thing I would remind is the fact that Ari in Blitzkrieg never sounded the way it sounded in reality. I mean the sound of the approaching granate... I couldn't find any videos from Sudden Strike RWM Mod. There you can find the sound I mean.

It sure looks cool. I am still waiting to see a single screen showing a decent field of view though. These screens all show the field of view as being about ~100 yards , which means that the unit ranges have to be about that as well. Not good at all. On the upside, it appears that we will be able to try this out for free and not have to invest in another set of expensive drink coasters. Between BKII , MOW, and Codename Panzers I have all of those I will ever need.

Cause i remember playing one such version and it was in Russian, but it title was in English. I have most of SS complete, describe that compilation game and I can tell you what it was. There is still a modding site, with tonns of maps and mods: www.sudden-strike-maps.de/

Concerning the screenshots, I hope this game will not have the mistake like panzers and allllll those other games, by using too close ranges.. I dislike the view of two tanks allmost touching each other before opening fire. The plane is flying quite low too :/ On the other hand, I see lots of nice units begging for a paint job

If they use cam like on the last screenshots I guess it's ok. You have enough battlefield to control. Don't know, I don't like too big zoom in/zoom out level. If you zoom in too much you need to have lot's of details (like our War Today). That will force you to have less units for performance. If you can zoom out too much you will have to have less details: imagine, huge battlefield with lots of units and details, something has to render it For the ranged I agree - the lowest range I would like would be ranges from Blitzkrieg I. But I dislike (strongly) very big (huge) ranges, unless you control game with quite zoomed out level. I can't catch up with FlaK 88s killing my T-34s from other side of the map I must bow to their quality level: check the graphics and details, I think they have a good team.
