bb you mean Beglrade? I'll take a look. Complaints noted. Very nice review BB as usual. I think is the 2nd mission of Vienna. The weird thing is I checked the script and it looks okay, meaby there are too much commands running at the same time... I'll try to make the script run manually. :/ EDIT: Ok, using the cheat I noted the command Objective3Finished() was running but for some reason the objective wasnt checked (probably because the script called too much commands at the same time). I disabled the command using the KillScript, called it again using the @runscript("Objective3Finished", ... and everything gone well.

and he's BACK! Where have you been man. We were worried about you Any news on narva btw? I've been here and there. Sorry for not reporting more often. Narva is currently on hold. I've got 2 unrelated maps to finish first (per request), so once that is done i'll finalize Narva and hopefully release it finally. bb a small confirmation please. After killing that part of the script in 2nd Vienna mission the mission itself proceeds normally, correct?

Yep, but I receieved the Win message when I retook Kula, and I still had 3 more positions to retake. Not sure this is what you wanted when you scripted the map. I'm Vienna now, awsome map, but the game ordinary runs in the speed -1 and -2...

Yeah, probably forgot to adjust the script, but then again it does offer an easy way to finish the mission.

Going through Viena... the mission start is awsome, the first objective (the park) is the perfectly executed, this is Blitzkrieg in it essence! But now I'm suffering to penetrate in the enemy defences inside the citty. Painfull work, my friend, specially because I must play in -1 speed (even using game fire). I think I allreday know how I'll spend my hollydays...

Ok, lets start with the review, I'll post the screenshots in next week (I'm in vacations, and dont have the files with me):
The Vienna chapter is the best, I presume you made the maps in the end of the creation process, because there are several improvements in the map design and the script in relation of some maps in the begining. BTW, I was impressed with the complexity of your scripts, there are lots of commands totally unkwnowed by me and you are relativelly new in mapping, what is more surprising. However in map 10 and map 11 the German reinforcements are teletransported in the middle of my units, this happened in some of those objectives where the player must lose it, the enemy troops pop up before I could withdraw all my forces. This situations brakes with the "immersion" in the game, and could be avoided, specially in map 10, if you put the German reinforcement in the top of the map. Overall, map 10 and 11 are messed in some ways but very intense, they are in the same level of some defensive maps made by Mr.Frost (for example, his last mission in Ardennes Offensive). But Map 12 is really a masterpiece, a tremendous delight for the urban fight lovers (like me). The map design is awsome: destroyng the enemy strongholds in the citty is the main content of the map but the player can experience different kind of combats in the begining, besides, is necessary to use your forces together to advance in the map and the infantry, with the flame-thrower units, have a special role in the mission. After the park objectives I started with the islands, involving the enemy from the right to his rear. The combat to the bridges is also one of the the good appeals of this maps. Anyway, 12 hours "working" in this wonderful mission, one of the best urban missions I have played. The only issue is my old complain of the excess of the units, in half of the mission I needed to play -1 speed and with low effects and I believe you really could made some zones with less units.
In conclusion: a great campaign, which is harmed with some reitered kind of maps, script bugs and some unstability, below than GordonCz campaigns, but in several ways better than Ocelo's GPW and Manhunter Campaigns. My rating is: Historical Acuracy 10 (taking acount the verisimilitude with the textes and the use of the units). Map Design 8,5 Scripts 9 Fun 7,5 (in this factor I counted the bugs, crashes, the repetitive style of some maps and the time spent in useless objectives). Extras 8,5 (movies, textes, and a good apresentation of the campaign. The use of the core units could be improved). In general: 8,7

Very good review! Shame that i gave up on Mission 5 or 6 Yes, the problem is the Belgrade chapter, when the missions became repetitive. I almost quit sometimes. I'll review your Barbarossa project when ready.
