Just a comment... The USSR used the T17 Autocar in quantity as well as the International M5 Halftrack. The SU57 was based on the M3-57 GMC and was also based on the International M5 Halftrack. Major, a what visual differences between the M3 Halftrack and M5 Halftrack ? Maybe we should make a separately modification M5 Halftrack. |

I already built the M5s, seen above... The M5 was a bit heavier and slower than the M3s.... also had round rear corners. Those can't really be seen in Bk scale so I use my M3 for the basis... Make a list of Russian Halftracks you might want and I'll send them. Most of the M5 had the pedistal MG or a full rail across the front windscreen on the M5A1. That is hard to replicate in BK so center mounted on a rail would be best if you want that one. That frees up the cargo area for troops or equipment. The SU57 was the same as the M3-57mm GMC known as the T48. They also used a few M3s for the 75mm HMC (T30) and 105mm HMC (T19). I'm not sure what designation they used if any. They also used the M17 which was the same AA-Gun arrangement as the M16 but based on the M5. The most common were the two above... but M5s were adapted for several types of missions. Study it and get back to me...  |

Update on Halftracks:
I have completely modified the USSR M5 and UK M9 Halftracks. They now have the 'International' rounded rear corners and soon ready for download.
There is no differences to the skin layouts. The M3 skin also works for the M5 or the M9.
