I am back with playing your campaign.
I played Mission 3 today.
Attention Spoiler!
Defending the Strongpoint. Well, in my first try I thought I had to defend it at all costs so I lost all my mobile core units and a lot of trucks so I decided to restart and play smarter this time.
I defended against 2 waves, shot down most of their tanks and retreated with some 50 men and my StuGs. The enemy overrun some positions on the river bank but also failed to overrun some. Objective river bank was accomplished then, but no more enemy attacks followed. The remaining infantry that was left from the attack on the strongpoint attacked me and was destroyed quickly. I withdrew all units from the river bank but no further attacks came. I drove my StuGs back to strongpoint and destroyed a single disabled T26 there...no further attacks. I speeded up to +10 and waited until the objective was accomplished. That worked and reinforcements arrived. I took the church due to lack of time with a mass assault and lost a lot of units but won the mission .
Something with the attacks on the villages after I lost the strongpoint must be not working. The right villages wasn't attacked at all. I was already looking forward to defend it . I also noticed that the enemy artillery is unguarded (as well as the Strongpoint after you loose it) and a few Infantry can capture the entire enemy artillery (I didn't do that, but its possible).
Without these bugs, it would be the best mission so far. Still a nice one, but that there is no attack makes them quite easy and takes away the "desperate defence" feeling that is created so nicely at start when you loose then strongpoint.
Mapping: Just one word: AWESOME! The ravines are used really well. The defence positions including the nice fitting bunkers look totally awesome and are filled with well fitting objects and details. The frozen river is the best frozen river I have ever seen on a BK map. The soviet-held church is also one of the very beautiful parts of the map. The destroyed bridges and the crashed planes on the maps also fit in very nice. Please keep that standard. Its a really well mapped! 10/10. Perfect!
Don't expect the next review too early...school keeps me very busy at the moment .
greetings, Stanenberg

I have found and corrected the bug Stanenberg mentioned. Luckily it was an oversight on my part and even more luckily it wasn't gamebreaking (mission could still be completed in an easy way). In any case, here's the link for the fix: www.mediafire.com/download/uqbk7ctkavgrhxg/[GZM7.77.3]Blue_Division_1941-1943.pakSave games are compatible with the fix. Once again thanks Stanenberg for spotting this one. Enjoy. EDIT: I have updated the link in the post no. 2 of the thread.

Its me again.
I gave Mission 4 a try today. Was quite fun to play. I like your winter mapping. Very good use of ravines. Only the villages are overdetailed, so my units have problems moving there.
I just got the order to take the 3 villages and the command post. I think I won half of the mission right now, but you can never know whats gonna happen
I also found some "bugs". When you retreat to the settlement in the west, enemy units spawn in the start village. I still had plenty of units there and they all got destroyed . Another problem is, that some squads turn neutral, or I can only click on one soldier to select the squad, but as far as I remember it is a bug from Stalingrad game.
Thanks for this campaign again, Stanenberg

Thanks for this campaign again, Stanenberg Hi, the change player command has the tendency to produce some weird bugs. It's even worse if a unit is inside the building. Technically they change side, but you can't select them until you get the unit outside which is only possible by destroying a building. It shouldn't hamper you progress btw. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You're welcome.

I finished Blue Division Chapter...awesome ¡¡ funny to play. A few crashes but no problem. The only bad thing... the spanish voices are the same that Spanish Civil War Mod. I am spanish and i thought that were mexicans robots with german uniforms jeje, ( how can we change it and put real spanish voices ?? ).
Seriusly, tedi88, thanks for the GREAT job you did.
Greetings friends ¡¡¡

Greetings friends ¡¡¡ Hahahahahah. First you're welcome, I'm glad that you like it. Now regarding the voices: honestly I know that there is a difference how Mexicans pronounce Spanish language and how the Spaniards (or should it be Spanish?) pronounce it. However I can't tell the difference. It's even funnier with Yugoslavian units. They speak with very weird accent. Worse Serbs, Croats and Slovenes speak the same sentences which obvious wasn't the case in real life. I can understand why they assigned Serbs and Croats the same language, but Slovenes? They sound totally different. Also it seems GZM team made one more mistake, Slovak soldiers also speak same as Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. To change the voices of units you would have to either create new voice files which can then be added to the mod and linked to the units via xml. Sadly I have never tried it, but perhaps somebody else knows how to do it.

@interpol check into /sounds/ack/spanish folder of my add-on in progress. it' can be a track of the voices you should follow to make a new one spanish ack pak. if you'll do it, pass to me i could use it. tedi88 i think for poorness of members who went to make acks, the most similar or nearest for yugoslavia and slovakia was slovene and they used that language ... me, i don't realized that for sure, my friend

I'm not certain if it's Slovene language.
I can speak it and what we have in GZM doesn't sound like Slovene but either Serbian or Croatian. However it could also be one of the dialects common in Bosnia (judging by the way they say "understood").
It's weird to hear Slovaks talking in other language.

A small update regarding my work:
Narva chapter progresses rather nicely (albeit a bit slow). Two missions completed and tested, third is on the way. I expect to be able to release it in late summer/early autumn 2015. Scope of the chapter is somewhat expanded compared to what I initially wanted to do which is one of the reasons for such a late delay.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since i'm running short of time right now, i'll post some screens next week.
Finally happy New Year to everyone here. I wish you lot of success in 2015.

As promised a couple of screens and couple of notifications: First: some things may change in the future on these maps. For example here you have FW-190 F8 as GAP. Thing is at the time they weren't used so they'll be removed when the chapter is released. Second: since i'm having some additional free time, i'll use to tie up some loose ends - namely: hopefully in about 10 days i'll update the Southern Front campaign. Some mission will be reworked fully, some will have tweaks and balance changes here and there and some will have only graphic enhancements. Third: as mentioned above, due to a rework, i'll remove the download links to Southern Front. Links will be updated when rework is done obviously.

Great stuff! Looking forward to play that it. How many maps planned? Hi, If you are asking about Southern Front it will be as follows: Mission 1, 2, 4, 5 and possibly 12 (not sure on this one) will have a big overhaul. Some things will remain the same or similar (like the goal of the first mission) some will be different. Mission 6, 7, 9, and 14 will receive medium graphic enhancements. All missions will receive some kind of tweaks regarding balances etc. Now if you ask about Narva since it was a complicated battle, some compromises will be made: I'm not really certain, but let's say 9 missions (no promisses, there might be more). I'm still thinking about a certain battle and whether or not to include it or not. Also for now the structure of the chapter will remain a secret.
