Weapons range isnt in 1.xml... You must go to data\weapons and open weapons xml file. Then find parameter "rangemax". This should be what you want

Keep in mind that in MK lines of sight are shorter than range of fire.

There's also a parameter in the consts.xml that needs to be changed in order to have longer ranges. Can't remember its name though, and my PC's dead for the moment, so can't look it up either. Sorry.

One more,please.
"Reloadcost" Does this mean the reload time of the artillery piece?

hmm....I dont know what reloadcost means. Maybe It means how many ammo will weapon reload per one reloading (for example rifle 1 bullet, submachine gun 5 bullets). Reload time is defined in parameter "relaxtime". I have quite big experience with making new gameplay. Maybe I could write something longer about all important parameters and learn something about other parameters

One more, please. "Reloadcost" Does this mean the reload time of the artillery piece? ReloadCost is actually the amount of resources used to resupply a unit per shot from a resupply standpoint.
Higher the reload cost the more resources it eats to resupply the weapon to full ammo loadouts...
So for example.
If an MP40's ReloadCost is 5 and a Tigers 88 is 100.
Then it will take 20x more ammo to resupply an 88 round as opposed to an Mp40's 9mm bullet.
I hope this clears this up for you all...
Ask questions if u have any...

Is it possible to see enemy firing range in game? Its possible to see your firing range using Alt+R...
As far as the enemies... hmm.
Wouldn't this be cheating...

Is it possible to see enemy firing range in game? Just raise your helmet up with a stick. If it gets a hole shot in it, you are within the enemy's range.
