I pulled the trigger and bought this off STEAM. The first problem that occurred was that STEAM said that I couldn't install the game on C:\ since I already had a STEAM directory there (in C:\Program Files (x86)). I installed it on another drive instead. I guess you can just copy the folder back to the C drive if it has to be there?
Another thing. I only see Burning Horizon and Rolling Thunder, no Iron Division in the Anthology folder.
I may be able to lend a hand with the testing. Is there a special day we are talking about?

Yes... because you installed Blitzkrieg on an external or backup drive... you can copy the game to the C:\ Drive.
Iron Division (STEAM Version)
Iron Division resides in the Rolling Thunder Folder. The data pack is named: hellfire_iron_div_patch_1_4.pak
Refer to the ReadMe_Iron_Division.txt in the Rolling Thunder Folder.
Here is part of the text:
============================================================
Blitzkrieg Anthology: Iron Division 2005-05-10
Version: Iron Division 1.5
============================================================
Thank you for purchasing Blitzkrieg Anthology.

============================================================
IMPORTANT:
You can find the missions from "Iron Division" either as "custom chapters" or as "custom missions" in your "Blitzkrieg Anthology: Burning Horizon - Rolling Thunder" installation.
"Custom chapters" :
Budapest Medal
Grey Tigers
"Custom missions" :
Carthage 1943 I + II
Tank School: Lesson I - IV
The multiplayermaps which are included in "Blitzkrieg Anthology: Iron Division" are for the multiplayer part of "Blitzkrieg Anthology: BH - RT".
To play these maps you have to start the "Blitzkrieg Anthology: BH - RT" - multiplayer.
Please perform the following steps to install the game:
1. Insert the "Blitzkrieg Anthology: Iron Division" - CD into your CD
ROM drive.
2. If your CD ROM drive's Autoplay function is enabled,
the installation will begin automatically.
If the automatic installation program does not start,
launch the program by double-clicking the Setup.exe
file in the root directory of the Blitzkrieg: Iron Division CD ROM.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions of the
installation program.
4. Start the game either by using the "Blitzkrieg Anthology: BH-RT" link in
your start menue or double clicking the desktop icon
"Blitzkrieg Anthology - BH-RT".
Now select "New Game" -> "Custom Game" -> "Custom Chapters" or "Custom Missions"
5. Enjoy playing "Blitzkrieg Anthology: Iron Division"!
You should note that the instructions have not been updated as they refer to the BH-RT Folder. STEAM has these add-ons separated for some reason. I will inquire about this installation on Monday.
I suggest creating Shortcuts for the Desktop or Quick Launch Menu for Blitzkrieg and Rolling Thunder.
The Burning Horizon and Rolling Thunder Menu Interfaces in the STEAM Version will be slightly different than the Original Anthology Version. To access the Burning Horizon Maps in Rolling Thunder.... simply copy them to the Rolling Thunder Map Folder.
About the Rommel Campaign: I have not tried to test the Rommel Campaign in STEAM. I am not sure if it will run under Rolling Thunder without any Changes. I know that some members have worked on this before so perhaps they can explain anything they encountered or the steps they took to make it work.
Rocko... log into the MP Server from Blitzkrieg... you should see Captain online. Please advise if you can access the MP Maps in your current installation. I will try to track you if I am still online. My Work System is not setup to Play, but I can still check the Server and open a Chat Link.
I was tracking 'ElPresidente' earlier, but didn't answer his ping.... sorry about that... I just missed you friend.

If you want to test something you can log in to steam where I have added you. It is a lot easier than using the forum. Or maybe you can log on to mIRC?

Hi folks,
installed BK again after many years but no one online (openSpy). Anyone still playing or is it dead? From where can i get the BK Anthology 1.3.1 Multiplayer Patch? Installed my game in C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\Nival Interactive\Blitzkrieg, hope that won't cause any problems on Win/ ?! Kind regards.

Sorry for my late response... The BK Anthology 1.3.1 Multiplayer Patch can be downloaded here: www.mediafire.com/download/7bfftt5953c3jvf/BK_Anthology_1.3.1_Multiplayer_Patch.exeBe sure to also download the READ-ME File. www.mediafire.com/view/dk8559sww9qmyug/READ_ME.pdfI have also created a new document: BLITZKRIEG I Install Guide.pdfwww.mediafire.com/view/468antf402l2sxz/BLITZKRIEG_I_Install_Guide.pdfThe BLITZKRIEG I Install Guide.pdf advises the player on the best method to install the game and should be read and followed. About the Multiplayer Server During the GameSpy shutdown and later months... we did lose a great number of Multiplayers. Despite our best attempts to avoid this situation, it was bound to happen. We were not allowed to post any kind of message at GameSpy about the work we were doing. I don't know how this would affect GameSpy since they were abandoning games in mass.... but I suspect sour grapes on behalf of the Moderators at GameSpy had much to do with it. However, we have watched as there are many Multi Players are finding their way to the Patch and Server. We are still tracking around 40 original log-ins per day. We continue to study why some Players cannot see anyone else in the Server. I suspect, this is due to the Installation Path. One other aspect to this is a slight differences in the STEAM Anthology Version. We believe the latest Work-Around solves this issue... mentioned in the Install Guide. Good luck and please report issues...
As for my prediction of a new game era... well that is underway and ongoing... The final BETA Testing will not be until later this year. I would have to go back a read what I posted in Blitzkrieg I: Generation II, but the total release is not expected until 2016, if no unknown issues derail the timeline. I have not discussed much lately since my time has been split between several projects. But virtually all of my latest models are designed around GEN II, with BK I full support and backward compatibility. So watch the Blitzkrieg I: Generation II topic for news...

Good day! A few questions: having done the installation the way is described in the posts above, having applied patch 1.3.1 + Openspy patch v.2 (everything seems to be working), why is the room emtpy, why is the chat empty? I am asking in order to know weather the community has completely vanished or it's a client-sided problem. Any help is appreciated, I'm an old BKI player who's disappointed in this generation's games and wants to come back. Cheers EDIT: also, some catching up maybe as to what happened these last years (since openspy) would be something being grateful for .
