Hello It is possible to BK in high resolution by performing a small manipulation in the Config file.
But this one is automatically canceled if a panel tab is opened: Game Options
Anyone know what file it manages the game displays and it is possible to modify it to have display options related to the current computers.
Thank you for your answers

Doesn't the option of selecting the resolution depends on the graphical card you use ? I mean if the card supports the higher resolution then it can be selected via the options menu. What's the resolution you would like to play at?

Hi... I think you are looking for this
1. make all settings
2. change in config "1920x1080x32" (or like that)
"1920x1080x32" is lost when you re settest a new setting. Then you must change "1920x1080x32" again.

I'm afraid Fabrice's question is not if the resolution can be changed by manually changing the config file. It is possible as shown by Feldgrau. I my humble opinion the possible screen resolutions are shown in options menu. So resolutions higher than the ones that can be handled by your monitor are not displayed. eg. My desktop computer has a maximum screen resolution of 1600 x 900. When I play BK on my desktop computer I can select a maximum resolution 1600x900x32. When I play on a laptop computer with a maximum screen resolution of 1360 x768x32 then this is also the maximum resolution that I'm able to select in the options screen. I'm talking about screen resolution here, so not the highest resolution the videocard can handle. The question is, where does BK gets this information ? Are they coded as values in a file or is this information coming from the settings in Windows.

Hello Exactly, I know the manipulation to change resolution. But the problem is that when the options are open, the resolution becomes one of the original and must be repeated handling. So I'm looking any file manages the resolution capabilities to integrate him more opportunities.

OK fabrice, What is the resolution you want to use ? If BK checks the resolution of you graphics card then it should be possible to choose one of the resolutions that your graphics card or monitor can handle via the options menu.
I use a portable version of BK (BK on an USB stick) so I play the same BK installation on different computers. I can always choose the maximum resolution the computer can handle via the options.
Take the example with 2 computers.
Computer 1 max resolution = 1366 x 768 Computer 2 max resolution = 1600 x 900
If I play on computer 1 then I can choose no higher resolution than 1366 x 768. I I change the USB stick to computer 2 then I can select the higher resolution of 1600 x 900. If I change again to computer 1 the settings for resolution are changed back to the default setting. So I guess it is correct to conclude that BK checks the resolution of the graphics card (or the max resolution of the monitor that is connected to the graphics card)
I use the BK Anthology version and Panzerkrieg.
So it seems strange that you could not select a resolution that your graphics card or screen can handle ?

I've got a couple of widescreens...
2048 x 1536 on the 1st - is the highest screen resolution, BK will not run on this
1920 x 1080 on the 2nd - is the highest screen resolution, BK will not run on this
I run BK on 1440 x 900 x 32

Guys, I played BK 1 back in the day. After realizing that this game has been released on Steam I'm thinking of buying it again. Before doing so I would like to know if it is possible to play the game in 1440p (my native resolution)? Can I run the game on W10? Which high res texture mods would you recommend? Are there any other mods you would recommend (smth that adds realism)? Is there still an active mp-community?
Thanks in advance!

Can you provide me with a link which elaborates the process? Is there an overview of all the mods available? What they do? I would like to sort them by category (skins/maps and so on). I tried to search the forums but found nothing in that regard.
