have you tried checking the vehicle's xml, as ariete mentioned?
-<Guns>
-<item Priority="0" ModelPart="4" RecoilShakeAngle="0.0523599" RecoilShakeTime="400" RecoilTime="50" RecoilLength="6.4863" Recoil="1" ShootPoint="14" ReloadCost="309" Direction="65535" Ammo="44">
<Weapon>75mm_stuk40_l43</Weapon>
Make sure it has the exact same weapon as the one you are looking (76mm_m27_usa)

Yea the M8 Scott was built on the M5 Stuart. It was the Howitzer version. You should have found mine in the US Stewart Series. They use the 75mm_M2_Howitzer and 75mm_M3_Howitzer (new weapons). You can change the M8 version you have to use the 75mm_stuk40_l43 as Kodax Suggested.

A word about 1.xml Files:Ok... there has been a lot discussion about 1.xml files. I need to make a point about 1.xml files. Transplanting one 1.xml file into a different model will not make that model better or make it do things it was not designed to do. Most likely the model will not react like you expect.... you will get unexpected consequences.RULE OF THUMB!!!! Do not replace 1.xml files. The only reason to ever do this is someone a repaired or has correctly written one for the specific model you are going to use it on. I sometimes release new 1.xml for models that might have a issue that we missed in testing... but since I designed and created the model... I know how the model should work and where the secret code is. Secret Code: You will never figure this out. It is written in a way that you cannot understand it, even with it sitting right there in front of you in the file. You know the stuff that is listed in between those <item> /</item> and <data> / </data> anchors. Much of that has to do with how the model is put together and has nothing you can change. Depending on how complex the Animation Sequences are... the code length will vary. You can really screw a model up by trying to change this... or worse... using the wrong 1.xml file. So don't change the file or screw with this stuff.
I recently had a member contact me about why 1.xml files were not interchangeable. He wanted to change a planes behavior to make it work like another. So this is why I bring this up here. You will only cause yourself frustration and waste your time trying to get a model to behave like something else. You can go into the 1.xml and change the Command Parameters or the RPG Section, but trying to make a model do what it is not program to do will not work... It took me a lot of time to break the binary code and learning how the 1.xml file works. If you want to change something, all you have to do is ask me... or download my Command Calculator from my MediaFire Page. For Excel 2002 www.mediafire.com/view/jtizu07upvl86a1/BK_COMMAND_CALCULATOR_(BETA_RELEASE)_v1.02x_(BETA).xlsFor Excel 2007 www.mediafire.com/view/0lipwx22b418cx6/BK_COMMAND_CALCULATOR_(BETA_RELEASE)_v1.02x_(BETA).xlsxI design and wrote the Calculator so it would help you understand the binary codes... it is there for you to take advantage of. Not everything you wish a model to do is going to work, and my Calculator has that stated very clearly. But it will not tell you when you have given conflicting data... it is not that smart... yet. But it will give you the correct binary codes to enter into your 1.xml. So try it and learn from it. I am here to help all I can. I have been where most of you are right now... You have questions, hopefully I, or some of the other veterans can answer them... You do not have to travel over the same path that we already built into a road. You do not have to reinvent the wheel... we already have done that, and we will give it to you. Do not ever get it into your mind that your question is dumb. If you are brave enough to ask it.... I promise that you just helped others that had the same question in their head, but too shy to ask for help. So there are no dumb questions... period. This Forum is here for you. Not me, not the CIV5 people, but you, the Blitzkrieg Player. I am only a humble artist that offers my work to everyone. I probably already know what you wish to know. But in no way am I the expert... because there is still much to solve and learn. I do have vast knowledge about how Blitzkrieg works. The best thing you can do is ask questions rather than guess and screw your game up. And I know most of you new people out there are here to learn... I get PMs or emails from many of you that just found your way here from STEAM. Let me welcome you to your new home. You will learn more here than anywhere on the planet. Because here, we have some of the most talented artist and programmers any game has ever enjoyed. THIS FORUM is where Blitzkrieg starts and ends. All you have to do is talk to us... tell us what you think... ask questions, but most importantly... interact and enjoy yourself. And about those 1.xml files.... just ask, don't guess and don't trade one from another model. Life is just not that damn easy... but the answer to your question likely is. MP

Hi Guys!
Another "sticky" just happened to for the first time.. I took an old vanilla map and tried to convert it for Kursk(like i have done about zillion times before). I took the 1xml and ghanged it for the kursk mod and then saved it(like before). But when i try to open the 1xml again comes this error message: "The XML page cannot be displayed. Cannot viewXML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later"
Never happened to me before. I tried a differrent 1xml from another map and it worked fine??
THE 1XML CAN BE OPENED BEFORE I MAKE ANY GHANGES TO IT!
Thanks in advance.. FIN

Hey,
open the 1.xml and copy the text, insert it into a new editor window (simple win editor) and save it new Make Sure that 1) you dont save it as a Textfile 2) you call it 1.xml
its one of my standard hacks with anything that is showing up strange errors
If it doesnt work then write me a pm with all specific infos (Mod, new Mod,Model Source) and upload the files for me or tell me where i can find em.
Ill fix it.
If its for 3.2 i will first rofl and TRY to fdix it then
Regards
