Good one.....how's Hard West coming along??? I sorta lost interest after the third part... I killed every last one of them , now butchering aliens in Xcom 2 I'm surprised your Pentium 2 can handle Xcom 2..... you might need to upgrade the ram to more than 128 meg though..

And a 5 1/4 floppy as well.. boy that dates me..

Hi longfellow, I dont have time to BK on these days and the exiguous moments I have to dedicate to my megalomaniac campaign (also to play a little...) The problems with the different versions of GZM can be easily fixed. Once I became a kind of unofficial attorney of GZM in this forum, I'll fix all these problems for you, but just after finish the GPW campaign. And, dont worry, I'll check the smolensk map too.

blitzsrbija.proboards.com/post/57045/threadHi all.. The link above takes you to a post I made regarding a map [GZM7]Kutuzov1943finals_EN.rar which would not show up in English...following a lead from gzm7.blogspot.ca/2012/05/orel-1943.html I finally figured out how to fix it.. This map and another one [GZM7]Orel1943finals_EN.rar are identical and therein lies the problem..in the GMZ campaign is another mission named orel. How to fix this.. 1 unpack GZM_Patch_7.77.p3.pak 2 open Scenarios folder 3 open ScenarioMissions folder then ussr folder 4 rename orel1943 folder to __orel1943 5 repack GZM_Patch_7.77.p3.pak play the map
Of course you can delete/ move the folder if you wish
A little over simplified for the established members but hopefully new members will find it useful but of course it doesn't matter at all if you don't mind playing with the Russian text...but you will lose if you don't understand what's happening. So why the fuss over one map???..this is a great map... big, lots of action, large number of objectives and IMHO one of Simeo's best...but if it doesn't work it never sees the daylight and becomes a waste of time.
Cheers

fritzlang Hi... I notice on the GZM blog that additional files are needed to make [GZM7]Nsk.pak run....have you a link to them or do you have any idea where to find them Thanks and Cheers The map should work with GZM 7.77.3 without problems, no additional files are needed, when I translated this map, play it smoothly. In the blog post they appear unfounded comments
