Quintaxel,
I just sent you an upgraded Sandbox map bzm again. So make sure to script based on this one.
When I first put the sandbox map together, I was not sure just how far I should take it to simulate the airlift groups involved on actual game map, so I kept it simple, with only 2 reinforcement airlift groups, and basic script ID numbers...... But now that I see where you are going with this, it makes more sense for me to include all 8 airlift groups, as well as put all the actual 24 possible airlift group script ID numbers that will appear on actual game map. So now Sandbox map bzm contains the exact info as charted below.
GERMAN AIRLIFT GROUPS (script numbers)
MalemeAirstrip.........RetimoAirstrip.........HerakleionAirstrip
1st 2101 2201 2301
2nd 2102 2202 2302
3rd 2103 2203 2303
4th 2104 2204 2304
5th 2105 2205 2305
6th 2106 2206 2306
7th 2107 2207 2307
8th 2108 2208 2308
Interpreting Script ID Numbers
(2)101.....Where (2) = German Airlift
2(1)01.....Where (1) = MalemeAirstrip
21(01).....Where (01) = 1st Airlift Group reinforcements
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1- Script so checking for available captured/controlled airstrips to land at, always goes in order of MalemeAirstrip, then RetimoAirstrip, then HerakleionAirstrip........ While the possibilities are endless, the pattern remains the same.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
2- Each of the 8 rows represent an Airlift Group. When the first airstrip is captured/controlled, the 1st Airlift Group would then land there 5 mins later, using the script ID number under that specific airstrip. Then 10 mins later, the 2nd Airlift Group would attempt landing. Then 10 mins later, the 3rd, and so on till all 8 Airlift Groups have landed.
Example;
MalemeAirstrip is the very first airstrip to be captured/controlled, so then 5 mins later, the 1st Airlift Group script number used would be 2101. Then 2201 and 2301 would be voided out, never to be considered again. So 1 of the 8 total Airlift Groups landed, with 7 Airlift Groups still available.
10 mins after 1st Airlift Group has landed, 2nd Airlift Group would attempt landing.......... Now MalemeAirstrip & RetimoAirstrip are captured/controlled, so then the 2nd Airlift Group script numbers used would be 2102 & 2202. Then 2302 would be voided out, never to be considered again. So 2 more of the 8 total Airlift Groups landed, with 5 Airlift Groups still available.
10 mins after 2nd Airlift Group has landed, 3rd Airlift Group would attempt landing.......... Now MalemeAirstrip, RetimoAirstrip & HerakleionAirstrip are all captured/controlled, so then the 3rd Airlift Group script numbers used would be 2103, 2203 & 2303. So 3 more of the total 8 Airlift Groups landed, with 2 Airlift Groups still available.
10 mins after 3rd Airlift Group has landed, 4th Airlift Group would attempt landing.......... MalemeAirstrip, RetimoAirstrip & HerakleionAirstrip all remain captured/controlled, so then the 4th Airlift Group script numbers used would be 2104 & 2204. At this point all 8 Airlift Groups have landed, so there will be no Airlift Group landing in HerakleionAirstrip even though it remains captured/controlled. Then 2304, 2105, 2205, 2305, 2106, 2206, 2306, 2107, 2207, 2307, 2108, 2208 & 2308 would all be voided out, never to be considered again. So 2 more of the total 8 Airlift Groups landed, with 0 Airlift Groups still available.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
3- Capture/control of airstrip zones should work exactly as flag capture/control works. Zone is not captured until every enemy unit in zone has been eliminated or forced to retreat from zone. Then 15 secs to control it. Same would apply on recapturing the airstrip.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
4-Once captured/controlled, the 1st Airlift Group then lands at the very first captured/controlled airstrip 5 mins afterwards.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
5- Airlift Groups 2 through 8 then continue to airlift into an airstrip every 10 mins thereafter until all 8 Airlift Groups are airlifted in, so long as Germans continue to control an airstrip.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
6- If Germans lose control of any airstrip, Germans would need to recapture it before future Airlift Groups could be airlifted in again.
