Hi, while working on my skinpack I noticed that the Sturmtiger is not working properly. When you aim in a certain direction it doesn't move at all. But the shot goes where it is aimed at... I tried using the original Panzerwaffen (1.mod, 1.xml, weapon files)files but the flaw remains... Anyone has a fix or knows how to fix this? Thanks

Hi Eisenhans, do you mean that the gun does not "rotate" when aiming?

Hi Kevin, yes it seems like there is no animation. Neither to gun nor the tank itself rotate. Mat I tried different xmls but nothing changes

I was about to reply when I saw your message. I tried to change the gun, the unit type and then constraints too, but it seems the 3D model does not have any vertical constraints. Thus, it is impossible to "fake them" by modifying the .xml file, I think. I can import the model into Maya, re-edit the animations and locators and create a new .xml file, but that may take some time.

Eisenhans, do you have any information available on which the maximum horizontal and vertical rotation of the gun were?

We are going to use something like +/-15 or so, if you don't mind. I'll see if I can get my hands on it through out this week.

I switched to one vanilla Blitzkrieg weapon file and issue still remained. Which constraints are you using in your 1.xml file, SJ? Also, it looks like it is rotating in the horizontal plane, but not in the vertical one.

I have tried to make it rotate in vertical as Eisenhans wanted, but that's what I meant: The model not having those constraints in the 3D model, changing the vertical constraints does not achieve the desired result.

That's definitely an improvement Squire James Dummy question, how do I switch it back to indirect fire? Or would this "destroy" the animation again?

It's a different model, isn't it?
