Unfortunately my collection is not that organized. I couldnt even give you a complete list if i wanted to. What i can do however, is searching for single items (e.g. Map "Faithfull Hope" or PzWfn Patch 2.5). I support [BMG]Neutro s idea of a new library with "legal" stuff only. I think having one that is tied to and promoted on the forums (e.g. at the very top of all the subforums) would be great. Such a library could also be used to incorporate all the new stuff that the community releases. Our download threads right now are a mess - you have to click trough 20 pages just to find some links. Some people only release in their respective threads etc...

Glad to see people are still willing to contribute for a game this old!
kaoz I'm certainly interested in the zip containing all the maps hosted on your website and then add it to a new Mega repository.
Stanenberg Keeping such a library up to date sounds a little ambitious as only one person would be able to maintain a Mega repository. Maybe a different solution would be needed for such a use case. I like the idea though.

Yep, the idea of a new library would be awsome, but we will need a very willing and organized curator to organize this. Who is applying? I can contribute with my old projects, I think they are still online.
By the way, anyone here have the panzerkrieg maps made by Aleksej in 2008-2009? I just reinstalled the addon and I'd like to try it again.

Okay, here's the bkp.zip containing the old, original Portal maps (and chapters). Accompanied, you'll find txt files bearing the information. As i went through every map (long ago), i did not possess mods like TDA, SCW, ROK, TC1>4, MB, MK, IF and such, so they would lead only to a crash on my system. I did go through the HF, AUM, CCM2, EA and PW mods and i think most of these maps can be found on the bk.be site. Stanenberg did some uploads for the MK mod, so there the information of the txt files might be outdated (on MK maps).
After each title you will find two symbols: ** and */* ** maps/chapters available on bk.be site */* maps not available for various reasons: they crashed, i missed the mod, a few were too political incorrect imo and then some were not worth playing. I know that is a personal opinion, nevertheless i think this is exceptional and most of the old stuff is online.
In the zip, there's also a BK2 folder and a MP folder. I did not go through the BK2 stuff, so there's no txt files.
Concerning the Multiplayer maps, i would ask if anyone here still has the all_mp_12_12_2013 zip. It is the one with the 1000 MP maps. I only still have half of this package as i have already deleted a lot of maps.
Che Guevara I know you asked for the maps on bk.be site. I would still have to make a different zip for that. The difference between those maps and the old Portal ones, is that i added prefixes to the titles, such as BK_, BHRT_, BKHF_, PW_, and such, to instantly see what version i need. Also, in a few cases, i needed to rename the file or sometimes a title (the many Stalingrads, Normandy's and such).

Hello, I would be interested in creating and managing such a database. My ideas would be: -There is a meaningful folder structure -The database/account owner gives people access rights to upload required content -All data is compressed as 7zip with standardized settings before uploading (details later) -Only the latest version of content is uploaded (Mods, Maps ..) + any content that is available for a mod will be attached (no more searching for links)
Mat had already merged all BK SP maps into one package. it would be nice if he would upload it. In addition, many maps on blitzkrieg.be are already presented in an organized way and errors have been corrected and maps of poor quality have been sorted out. So a lot of work and time has already been invested by Mat and kaoz that doesn't need to be repeated again
I would put the topic of maps at the back of the list.
we can still pack all maps separately in their original state (e.g. bkp release) in a package as a "nostalgic source" without support and possibly missing dependencies (Units, Objects)
The Multiplayer Map Pack ist still online - but 80 % of the maps are well of poor quality in various aspects. I checked them all and many more i could find. my plan was to rework a lot of them (100+) and make them available as a new mappack with extensive scripts.
I only know "Mega" or "Mediafire" as a useful basis for the project, are there alternatives?
---- UPDATE
I would appreciate improvement and feedback - should the folder structure be changed or remain as it is?

I think is good as it is. Are you going to manage the repository? Should we send to you the files?

if no one else wants to take over the administration then i would be happy to do so. It would be nice if more forum participants would give their feedback. a vote, so to speak.
i can send the uploaders invitation links which will authorize them to upload data to my account. i would then download the material and pack and name it accordingly before it is uploaded again
