local bScenario is declaring the local variable bScenario
In this case:
local bScenario = the integer value of GetIGlobalVar("Mission.scenarios\\scenariomissions\\forbach\\1.Finished", 0);

danzig70, what maps you will use for the chapter? Show please generated map. I would like to see the correct placement of objects on a map.
P.s. You are not able to make a video?

MP, I'll have to look at a stock chapter but I thinks there is only one declaration per chapter. I am not sure how it is being used. Is it just checking to see if the first mission has been completed? red, only the heights are generated. I can do videos of the blitzkrieg window but I cant take videos of the WorldWind window. I'll post some screenshots of the heights of the four maps in the map editor. They are quite accurate in comparison with the raw data but look like crap in-game. Updating the terrain in the map editor helps with some shadows but the overall effect is not satisfactory, especially with this region. Recent mining activities are visible on the north maps. Im quite pleased being able create the height fields in the first place. I modified the program so it sets the lowest height to zero for each map and that also improved the shadowing a bit but the effect is still uninspiring. Maybe it will look better with trees and different ground tiles.

Danzig
The Cut screen does check for only two sets of conditions:
True or False
If True, enable next mission
If False, stay put.
There is no reason that other conditions can't be used here. The original scripts were meant to only keep the Chapter and Campaigns moving along a predefined route. That does not prevent a new set of arguments from being introduced.
We could add number of routines (or functions) that checks globals that are carried over. Namely the map we intend to go to, along with the individual unit parameters. I still haven't figured out how to strip the HPs values, but I haven't spent alot of time on that yet.
The proof that Globals... and Locals variables can be shared is in the existing scripts between chapters. The players stats and individual unit parameters are also shared between missions in Chapters. This data is used for the Combat screen.
Also, looking at how MultiPlayer files are handled, there is much that can be borrowed there as well.
We can change the format to whatever we need.
It just depends on how much of the power you want to utilize in the LUA language. I haven't seen anything yet that makes me think we will hit a roadblock... or anything that we can't resolve.
I'm still playing with the load saved map aspect within the Chapter Screen. I think I have this solved.... just a matter of provide the correct path and filename in the script. There is nothing different about the saved games except the file type: bzm <vs> sav.
Your work is ground breaking... I think we are very near a new dawn for BK. The name Danzig shall be listed with the BK Legends for generations to come. New Bkers will learn of our history and hear of your bravery and dedication...
(OK you guys... we need a Danzig Chant... so get busy working on that...)

danzig70, all in your hands! The main thing is not to give up! I have already downloaded the program. Are you sure this is the best option?

Very good red! I think you are the first to try it. I think it is the best option because I can host the BK mods and the WorldWind application on my website so that there is no program to install. It only needs java 6 or 7. There would be some kind of folder for the location of the game shortcuts for it to launch the game. I havent worked that out yet. I was also thinking of using it to arrange Multi-player campaigns. Folgore- you crack me up! I would prefer a cute little blondie cheerleader but I will take what I get I think my problem with the terrain heights is it lacks what the brush size does in the map editor. It kind of creates slopes from the center. I have to play around with that as I write the tiles.

[it looks llike youtube, in their infinite wisdom, deleted it.] Hi Xmen. Mr. Danzig is my father, you can just call me dan Which reminds me of my buddy that thinks it's hilarious to chant go nad! go nad! As you can probably tell by the number of smiley faces I am starting my weekend early this week.

danzig70, multiplayer campaign is well, but you have not solved many problems associated with the campaign, for example: who in a single game will manage the enemy, the map of WW2 does not correspond to the map in WorldWind and many other.

So you don't deserve a cute blonde cheerleader Every blonde cheerleader I have come across feels the same way. I have created the home page for the project here: www.danreavey.net/apotheosis/globalcampaign/globalcampaign.htm. I will update this page. I have a demonstration on the page and links to community files. If I can add a link to someone's page, let me know. I am going to be working on my version of the java app this weekend. Red: I dont know what you mean. I am working on a user interface that uses the globe and icons to access imagery such as topo maps and satellite imagery, mod web pages, custom pages and to launch the game. The icons can be moved on the globe as you advance through a chapter. The globe is also helpful when creating a chapter with the BKTopo tool and the ability to visualize the terrain of the maps you will be creating. It can also be helpful when thinking about the strategy involved. The topographic maps have building "footprints" that can helpful for placing buildings on the map manually. The ability to move between missions in a chapter by using a modified chapter script is just an experiment for a chapter I am also working on as a test-bed. It sounds like MajorPain has made progress with that so I would like to follow up on that. The idea of a chess-like AI to play against is only in the realm of fantasy. Which is the advantage of multi-player. I do not personally use borders in my project for the reason you mention.
