Yes, making houses (and churches) is always fun, but the destroyed states are mostly not... You could copy paste some of the destroyed roof parts from original BK. Think it will look better that way.
Also, don't create too much shadow. When looking at original BK houses, the sun is at highest point and always just a small fringe of shadow. Without wanting to critisize, i believe in your top picture, there's too much shadow.

Criticism is welcome kaoz. That picture was just part of my testing on how to make the shadow file. I think I ended up placing the sun approximately 90 degrees from the camera. I think I may need a new shadow file for the destroyed state though because most of the walls are gone.
I can't figure out how to place the "gauge" when people enter the building. It should be above the building? I don't know why it's at the lower right corner. I thought it was due to the placement of the origin marker but other buildings in the resouce pack have the same origin placement. It looks odd as it is because it looks like there are forty people in that little room.

The good thing about that is when most of the walls gone, most of the shadows are also gone (and doesn't take much time to create).
Not entirely sure what you mean, but have you tried loading your church into the ResEditor? There you can set a green square to mark your building entrances.

Thanks for the tips. I guess the troops are entering the building ok. I checked the other buildings and the gauge (green/red bars that light up when building is occupied) is located in the same spot. Just looked a bit odd. I'll redo the shadows for the destroyed state and release it.

Zaltar: No problem, the files are still available and Im still working on the project. If they are taken down just send me a PM and I will upload them again. Fabrice: I plan on using MK for the default map mod. So hopefully this will be helpful. I would be happy to work with your group on this. Im finishing a demo and will post the new files soon. Here is a screenshot of having an overlay of an aerial image onto the bk map image for the editor. This way roads, bridges, etc are in the correct places. The same can be done for a topo map so that the location of heights can be mapped in the editor. If you select create map the files are replaced with new ones and overlays are gone. Great!! I was ROFL about myself that moment because i setted up a big pinboard, took a scale meter and a calculator to do exactly that work

I would like to reach out to the community to see if there is a possibility for collaboration for cross-platform story telling using existing game engines, narrative, 3d programming, graphic novels, voice acting and RPG on platforms such as Twitch. I believe that blitzkrieg, because of the relative ease of scripting, is a suitable engine for many environments, is suitable for player interaction and character immersion in many instances. I am a big fan of Dark Fiction World (http://darkfictionworld.tumblr.com/) that I think exemplifies many of the attributes I imagine. I have been working on my project for Global Campaign/Apotheosis since 2010 and have made limited progress. I have come to the conclusion that I need help to see it to fruition and am therefore reaching out to my favorite community for assistance. Any comments are welcome. Dan

danzig70, sorry but I can't follow what you're trying to achieve now. I always thought that the initial objective of the 'Global Campaign project' was to make BK campaigns less linear, so a mission would depend on the outcome of the previous mission and/or the success of the player in that campaign. I always found this to be a very interesting but challenging idea. interesting because campaigns would de different every time they are played but challenging because you would need to program some kind of a layer over BK to manage the campaign. This layer could then use BK to play single maps as part of a campaign. At least this is how I understand it. I do not see how the BK engine could work in cross-platform as it is written for Windows and how you could use the engine without changing the code of the engine itself.

...you might want to ask LouisXIV, he is usually pretty accurate with the maps he makes (his Sfax map is superb. A totally unique type of desert map, very Tunisian) I will just drop this here, very quietly, and then walk away with the utmost discretion... Worth of CFCSing? I mean map works on an interesting concept, and with good looking, very well done scenery, deserves improved gameplay, doesn´t it?

Yeah, I was just day dreaming after drinking too much wine.

there's nothing wrong with drinking good wine and daydreaming. But seriously I found/find your idea of a global campaign very interesting. It's a pity that a lot of links in the first pages of this thread are dead.

Sfax is in CFCS as the US Historical Mission for Tunisia Now I'm truly lost! Looking through my saves, I have Torch, El Guettar, Road to Mateur, Mateur, etc., but nothing that looks like LouisXIV Sfax; am I playing the right campaign? Mate, can you please post the mission list for the US campaign?

Mate, can you please post the mission list for the US campaign? "The Battle of Kasserine Pass: Tebessa Pass" is Sfax. I just renamed it (Louis himself admitted he'd misnamed the map as the town of Sfax was in a different location to where he'd set the map) Tebessa Pass? US Campaign? Sorry, mate, my mistake. Forgot I had installed the US NAM chapter for CFCS, and mistook the missions for the US Campaign. Off to play with the US Army in Tunisia then!
