I tried to run a mission I've never run before, for Rolling Thunder and HeimatfronT. The HeimatfronT units come out in checkerboard.
I thought I had the patch for RT hi-res, but apparently I don't. Does anyone know where to get it?

Hi Louis, you can find the patch here : blitzkrieg-es.net/rolling-thunder-multiplayer-patch-13/"Why are some units and other objects displayed as black-and-white squares when I run a particular map or mod?
The “chequer-board” effect will happen if the mod or expansion you are playing only included “high” DDS texture files for the units and other objects.
To resolve the problem, go to Options – Video Settings and change the texture level to “High”.
NOTE: this option is missing from some releases of Rolling Thunder. If you are running Rolling Thunder and do not have this option then install the Rolling Thunder Multiplayer Patch.
Alternatively, the Blitzkrieg Start Tools application will automatically fix the texture settings automatically in any Blitzkrieg game installation." |

Hmmm, I installed this months ago. Maybe that's why I've never ran into that chequer-baord effect!

Thanks for the efforts Folgore but none will install. I am using BH-RT with Anthology. I have Mission Kursk 1.4 with Iron Frost Full Pack also installed. I have just downloaded [MK] Road To Stalingrad '42 and most of my units are Checkerboard !! |

"Blitzkrieg Anthology BH-RT Texture Patch has not been fully installed because of the following reason... data\Anthology_BH-RT_Texture_Patch pak: This file contains invalid data ( error 21FC ) You will have to run this utility again to completely install Blitzkrieg Anthology BH-RT Texture Patch " I have tried this THREE times now !! A solution might be to get on the internet and find yourself a copy of Rolling Thunder as a separate entity. I'm not sure that I have seen a true solution to your problem.

For those that need the HI-Res repair for Anthology or Rolling Thunder, you must have the correct RT config.cfg.
This is the only way to resolve this issue. Several Downloads that are posted that claim to fix this... usually don't.
If you need this fix, send me a PM or Email and give me your email address, and I will send it to you.
For comparison, the correct config.cfg is 39 kb and dated 1/23/08.
I recently built a slightly updated config.cfg which is also 39 kb dated 9/25/11 that also works for some PW & BH2 versions that have the same issue.
These are the only versions that will correct the HI-Res issue, that I am aware of.
The list of BK add-on releases 'versions' is growing. At the moment, there are at least 6 distinct RT versions in circulation and only one supported HI-Res.
