An update for all you Guests... I am attempting to complete Mission Expansion Pack: 5 before I actually resume work on the above mentioned project... seeing as how I had already started on this expansion pack. It will be released as a seperate "addon-type" installer to expand the number of missions avaliable to BR players. I just started the plans for another new BR 2vs1 which will be called (BR) Repair Yard. The map will contain a very unique idea and concept... That is #7 for the planned Mission Expansion Pack: 5 which I will be releasing upon completion. (BR) Bogged Town a new 2vs1. (Completed)(BR) Chateau Jaune a new 2vs2. (Testing Phase) (BR) Eastern Wind a new 1vs1. (Completed)(BR) Hardened Ice a new 2vs2. (Completed)(BR) Nighnen Ridge a new 1vs1. (Completed)(BR) Rotting Forest a new 2vs1. (Construction Phase)(BR) Repair Yard a new 2vs1. (Construction Phase)
I have no idea how I ended up with so many maps in progress at the same time... Normally I like to start and complete 1 map at a time. I will try and complete them in good time. A shot from the latest (BR) Repair Yard... a new 2vs1. The simulation here will be a solo German player vs two Soviet players. (Early Theme) The German player has been caught around a "tank repair depot" and the 2 oncoming Soviet players will be the aggressors attempting to eliminate the installment. Release in the near future... Good games to all! -iLeeT_PeeP

The Battle for Hürtgen Forest in November 1944 Map 18x18 Game: BK MOD: MPunitsP1V1+MPunitsP2V1+MPunitsP3V1+MPunitsP4V1+MPunitsP5V2+MPunitsP6V1 Author: Gargantua Season: Fall Year: 1944 Player: US AI: German It is early November, 1944. The U.S. Army's 28th Division, 112th Infantry Regiment, has been given orders to take the German town of Schmidt in the Hurtgen Forest. A small, muddy forest trail crossing the Kall River gorge has been designated as the main supply route (MSR) and will be the main route of attack. King, Love, and Item companies of the 3rd Battalion will move down the trail first. They will go past the Mestrenger Mill, cross the small stone bridge over the Kall River, take the small village of Kommerscheidt, and proceed onward to seize Schmidt. Able and Charlie Companies of the 1st Battalion will follow, along with heavy weapons companies Mike and Dog. M3A3 Sherman Tanks of A Company of the 707th Tank Battalion and M10 Wolverine tank destroyers of the 893rd Tank Destroyer Battalion will provide armor support. Air support from P47 Thunderbolts is dependent upon the weather, but the forecast is for mostly cloudy skies with rain and sleet- not very promising. 155mm Divisional artillery and 105mm Regimental artillery will provide artillery support. What little reconnaissance that has been conducted indicates that resistance should be light, but the area is heavily mined. Engineers claim the Kall Trail has been cleared of mines...mostly. It appears that some enemy troops have already abandoned their defensive positions. Once Schmidt has been secured, expect counterattacks from infantry and tanks of the 116th Panzer Division and the 1055th Infantry of the 89th Infantry Division. Map: SchmidtTo play this map you need to download six extra units.pak (see previous post) and add them to your BK DATA folder. In this map you not only get the play with the new US-tankdestroyers by MP but might even expect see a weasel. Enjoy KeepItSimple

Weasels were about the only thing that could move in some areas around there...
I'm curious how you came to select that particular theater and the forgotten battle?

Hi @mp, Latest year Feldgrau and I visited the area and a small museum, hence my knowlegde on this forgotten battle. The map is a lucky find. I was looking for maps to use in Frankreich'40 mod and came across it in archive of BK-portal saved by HungaryBlitz. The maps was of course no use for the MOD but I did see it was something special. In my opinion one of the best BK-maps ever, beautiful map, good script, with an eye for the historical facts, difficult but not impossible, use of random attacks so you never know where enemy might hit. And with your units MP it even looks great. To promote your own work it of course not done, but this is not my work so I though I could get away with it So downloaded those files and play it.

BK x RT
Hi, comrades,
May I ask why such fine units and maps can't be played in RT? RT seems to provide a better game experience than original BK.

Hi Mascarenhas2Download the following file as well. It only contains an object file. This should work. Report back if it doesn't. Downloaded first the other files to be sure that this is newest (probably not necessary but it won't hurt either). [BHRT]MPunitsP6V1.PAK
