It worked for me Do you have patch 7.77.3 ? Even with the 7.77.3 patch in place, Sesena 1936 keeps crashing my BK; does anyone know what is going on? |

Hi Warlord, are you using the English translation patch? I recently realized that using them, terrible script failures occur. Therefore, I recommend that you play GZM 7.77.3 in original Russian. I know it is complicated to understand the instructions in Cyrillic but it is the best solution to avoid the crash of the game. If you are interested, I have saved (I believe), all the chapter saves from German Campaign, and until Operation Kutuzov from Russian Campaign........

Mate, so far, Sesena in english/spanish is the only map that has given me crash trouble; do you know if there's an original russian version of it? Maybe, as you say, that is where the problem lays. |

Warlord www.mediafire.com/file/qrfhz1sue4v395b/missions.7zLink to your missions from GZM there are three inside plus two test missions..I didn't do the test missions..Now I hope someone keeps me right here...unpack the 7z and you will see a folder named missions ...in my installation of GZM (and I stress my installation) the pak file you need to open is GZM_Patch_7.77.p3.pak and keep opening till you get to/Scenarios/custom/ and you will find the original missions folder...copy paste your new missions folder and keep nodding your head if it asks questions and it will overwrite the old one and re pack the main GZM_Patch_7.77.p3.pak.... keep your finger off the Esc key or sit on your hands as it may be a lengthy process depending on the type of box you have. Once finished, load the mod and go to custom games and you will see the custom mission screen is no longer in Russian and neither are the missions..or at least the ones I translated for you. Not the best translation but as I said I don't have my old translator any more....  Apologies for the screen distortion your Suez and Finnish mission are lower down on the menu but you get my point The lua files are not done..I had a link to a program that would assist me but it didn't and I wrecked an old trial file..so I didn't go any further This should help Cheers

Well, here we go with the dumb questions:
1. When you mention the 7.77.3.pak, you mean the pak.file? How do you open a .pak file?
2. I already have everything unpacked and installed (that is, since a long time ago), but when I get to the data/scenarios/custom folder, all I find is another one called chapters; no mission folder there. Is it hidden?
3. Within scenarios, there is a folder called scenariomissions, but nothing more.
4. You have to do this directly within the .pak? Or is it a way (that 2. and 3. say I can't find) to do it once installed?
EDIT: Never mind, I already opened it. One final question: I do have to reinstall p3 once modified, right?
EDIT 2: Never mind, it's self installing...

As a matter of fact, yes: Do you happen to have the Sesena 1936 map for GZM? It crashes the game everytime I run it, even while using 7.77.3, so maybe you have had the same problems, and know what to do...

Don't know what to tell you...ran great for me....took out everything reagrding 7.77.3, added resource pak , Sesena file and away she went.. Didn't know whose side I was on for a minute with a CR42 as a fighter with the Republicans...but played without a flaw..took a long time to get the crossroads held arrow to go but it did when the counter attack was over...send some infantry and a squad of Cavalry to take the soutwest position get the northeast town then take Sesena....dig in,tanks up front and infantry just behind them in the buildings...that's how I tackled it.. Apologies my friend but I can't help you..make sure your GZM data file is OK if you need I can send a pic of mine Cheers Edit....... didn't try 7.77.3...why would I?? My two edits said it all mate: Everything is up and running beautifully! I'm not playing the maps yet, but opened all, took a look around the first screens, and everything is as clear as "O Canada" sung with subtitles  |

The first lua's and custom missions I've done for GZM...just want to make sure they work and if not let me know Cheers |
