I have been experimenting with large mini-campaign maps. I have also been trying out other larger maps that I have found.
I find that spending too long on one map can sometimes feel more like work that play. However, it does provide a good feeling of continuity.
If you have tried some larger maps, please let me know what you prefer above - large maps that are almost a campaign in themselves, or a series of smaller maps made up into a chapter.

Larger maps. They give a better feeling of conquest.

I love larger maps too! And then larger maps too. I prefer them when you get awarded with a lot of nice reinforcements. If I play a large map it needs to be of high quality because otherwise I get bored and stop playing after a while. Good examples will be Budapest or Mozhaik for GZM 7
