I am at the end of my tether ........... I've been trying to get a hold of Mission Kursk for the last two years and STILL cannot find anywhere to buy it  I dont really want to sign up to any download sites ...... Any suggestions guys  ? |

Just checked Amazon.co.uk and there it is - £10.95 for a game. There is however a catch - it is being advertised as Mission Barbarossa but has a picture of Mission Kursk cover.
Needs look in to.

I saw that too FJ , when you look at the actual product though it is indeed Mission Barbarossa. Which is a bit of a bummer !! I cant believe how difficult it is to get a hold of this, considering it's not really that old !!! No sign of it being re-released ? Sturmy. |

EB Games doesnt even have it and CDV still links to their site. If you still can't find it in a couple of weeks I'll send a copy of mine.

does anyone know if the mission kursk on amazon german is also english too? Or is only german. I think i am never going to get mission kursk....

It appears that it's almost impossible these days to get a hold of most BK1-games, and the only solution - for those who doesn't have them - is to download them from sites like the one listed above. Not sure about the legal issues at all, but if a game can't be bought anymore, what to do? I did a quick check at Virgin Media, (where I bought some of my own copies), and they no longer sell games at all. In fact, they have transferred it all to Gamesplanet. I had to write Gamesplanet as I have a number of available downloads along with activations keys connected to each purchase, and I recieved new links from them. That said it does turn out they no longer sell anything BK1-related anymore, but apparently they keep copies for the sake of previous buyers, (such as myself), if in need of more downloads or activation keys. Can't help wonder what happens with my games when the day comes when it's not possible to download new copies or activation keys? For all I know I may want to play this game also in 10 years from now!  |
