Hi Finland,
In the Pak file in folder Scenarios/Custom/Missions/{name of map}/
there you find one XML file called "1.xml". In this file the arrows are managed. Find the following passage:
<Objectives> <item Secret="0" AnchorScriptID="-1"> <Header>Scenarios\Custom\Missions\Eiland\0h</Header> <DescriptionText>Scenarios\Custom\Missions\Eiland\0</DescriptionText> <PosOnMap x="210" y="310"/>
Changing this values, to change the placing of the arrow. Value x: between 0 and 252, 0 is left and 512 right. Value y: between 0 and 252, 0 is up and 512 down.

hi friends, i made rectangular maps and i must re-set the coordinates for the arrows related to the objectives, because opening the tga files with infarview they appear always square and so the coordinates i readed are wrong (i hadn't no problem with square maps). how could i do to read the correct coordinates? in map editor, down, where there's VIS:(.. ? i tried also to expand the minimap in map editor, making it become rectangular, but it's correct??

Open the map image (MAPNAME_h.dds) found in the maps folder image in GIMP...
Under the Image Menu Selection at the top, rescale the image to 512 x512.
Find the location of where you want the arrow... and place your mouse over it...
Look at the coordinates where your mouse is located... (this is found in bottom left of the map image window)
Those are the x, y coordinates you place into the 1.xml which is in the MAPNAME Folder under Scenarios / Custom / Missions
The 1.xml looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<base>
<History><PreviousPath>c:\spiele\blitzkrieg\run\data\scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\current.mip</PreviousPath><PreviousDate>13.05.2003</PreviousDate><PreviousTime>21:15:28</PreviousTime><PreviousOwner>LaPlata</PreviousOwner><Action>Exported as</Action><CurrentPath>c:\spiele\blitzkrieg\run\data\scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\1.xml</CurrentPath><CurrentDate>13.05.2003</CurrentDate><CurrentTime>21:16:08</CurrentTime><CurrentOwner>LaPlataLaPlata</CurrentOwner></History>
<RPG>
<KeyName></KeyName>
<StatsType>Mission</StatsType>
<HeaderText>scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\header</HeaderText>
<SubheaderText>scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\subheader</SubheaderText>
<DescriptionText>scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\description</DescriptionText>
<MapImage>scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\map</MapImage>
<MapImageRect x1="0" y1="0" x2="0" y2="0"/>
<TemplateMap></TemplateMap>
<FinalMap>abessinien</FinalMap>
<CombatMusics><item>music\combat2</item></CombatMusics>
<ExplorMusics><item>music\explore2</item></ExplorMusics>
<Objectives>
<item Secret="1"
AnchorScriptID="-1">
<Header>scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\0h</Header>
<DescriptionText>scenarios\custom\missions\abessinien\0</DescriptionText>
<PosOnMap x="399" y="200"/>
</item>
Immediately above is the Maps first objective... This places the Blue Arrow at x = "399" y = "200".
NOTE: Do not save the map image... it must stay at 256 x 256 for the Mini map to load.
