hmm. The arguement is good von... They seem to have greatly advanced in the realm of graphics/modelling, this cannot be disputed or doubted. As a whole however, they seem to have carried the game in a different direction and the concepts that have been built, surrounding the game, are presenting us with a strange/very different simulation compared to what we are accustomed to. Now I am not gonna say BK3 is bad, it seems promising. I will give them more time to work on it before I make such an assumption. Will it takes BK1's place? We will only find out in time... One thing I believe it will do... is attract a bunch of new BKers to the series. Most ppl now a days like gfx more than anything... It is very pleasing in that sense. I guess we will find out in time... Good games everyone! -iLeeT_PeeP

We have a saying in my country "I sign what you just said" (roughly translated). So I "sign" both what vonosten and iLeeT_PeeP said. If you allow me just a small "clarification". I'm not certain how many members of this community are familiar with Warhammer universe (40k setting). To see what i'm talking about, here's a picture of my favorite unit: One of my childhood dreams was to collect and play this game (tabletop). Sadly I never had the money to actually get them (I still want to play and I still don't have the money for it). Back in 2004 Relic and THQ released a video game called WH40K Dawn of War (followed by several sequels). Now in this game there were many features that were later present in CoH (same companies made them). I for one was impressed at first, then disappointed when I got the game I was disappointed. It was WH40k only at the same time it wasn't. There was something that was missing. What was it? It was the immersion (at least for me). I never criticised the game mechanics or the balance (Eldar were OP however), but the atmosphere it simply wasn't there. I still sometimes play it, but it will never be immersive as a tabletop. ----------------------------------------------- Back on BK3 (sorry for being off topic, it's somewhat connected to the next part). When BK1 came around it was a great game (more realistic than arcade). It had it's downsides obviously, but it also had that one thing that made it special for me - immersion. The immersion in this game is such that it "allowed" to play some maps like i was commanding companies and at the same time (albeit on different maps) it allowed to feel like an Army Group commander. Not a single game after that provided that feeling to me (Sudden Strike did before BK). Now like I said in my previous post, BK3 is not that kind of game. Terrain and graphics are nice as VO and Ileet said - I agree, Ileet said it will attract more players - I agree with that too. BUT (i'm starting to repeat myself) from what I have seen it's not really what I expected. Finally one last thing that has been said 1000 times already: Older games due to their limitations had the soul (they encouraged you to use your imagination and immerse yourself with them), newer games have better graphics but the imagination part is not there (not in all newer games, but such kind is in minority nowadays). This sums it up pretty nicely: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Nz8YrCC9X8From 1:20 to 1:50.

i sign what tedi just said in full. so these are the points about BK1 : more realistic than arcade not a single game after that provided me the same feeling old games had own soul (very beautiful this tedi ahahah) ahahha i love jurassic park series .. anyway concept was already enough clear ''about off-topic'' i plaied to that game. in reality i knowed warhammer universe through dawn of war. i went to read something on the wikis on the net about the topic ... very singular story eh !? ... you should try r enegade guard mod tedi which i remember was enough original, but maybe you've already done it. what were those marines you posted in pic, the 2nd division of the sanguinious angles (it said 'division'?)?

Frankly I don't want to go more off topic, so i'll keep this short and simple. For more information send me a PM. Regarding the mod: yes, i've played it. It adds and interesting faction, though I prefer Chaos Space Marines by far. Regarding the unit on the picture i've posted: Yes you are correct those are indeed from IX Blood Angels Legion or its successor chapters (funny thing is their Primarch name was Sanguinius ). To be more precise they are the "Death Company" (unique unit to this legion/chapter).

I dont undertand it now...so we can already buy and play this game when its in alpha? Standart edition costs 30€. I remember they said it will be for free and singleplayer will be in form of DLC. So multiplayer isnt free now? Whats deluxe edition? What I see is: "It consict of: A unique in-game tanks, replacing standard models in players army: Reinforced Т-34-76, modified Sherman tank and Panther M10 " so its like pay more to win?

If you missed the announcement... NIVAL changed the Format from the mini-missions to full campaigns. You have to buy and download the game, then you only have SP until they catch up the MP. Going forward, I'm sure we will see new releases and models as DLC for a cost. I'm not sure when MP will be ready.

It has real 1vs1 multiplayer Oh....cool. That's exactly what I expect from a RTS Game in 2015. Should be ok on a mobile but not on PC. Thumbs down!
