There's nothing else I can say besides what I told you in that e-mail. Remember 'good luck' is wished to those who might fail, so I don't need to wish you so. 2008 - Only you can decide the deadline.

Wishing for the best Major.
Be safe and try to relax, until this whole deal is over.

Nope...The Japanese based both trucks on the Chevrolet WA/WB (1939) and the Ford F-01 (1938). The Toyota Model GB (1939) used a cab based on the Chevrolet WA The Nissan Model 180 (1941) used a cab based the Ford F-01 but... in 1942-1944 as Steel was in Short Supply, the Cab was re-designed and based on the Ford Model AA, which was the same Cab as the Nissan Model 94. This 1942 Nissan 180 looked more like the USSR GAZ AA. Pre1941 Japanese Trucks based on Chevrolet and Ford were every bit reliable as any counterpart of the day. The trucks were divided into several classes with the most used being A and B. The japanese Government took extreme measure to for truck builders to comply with Government Rule. Because of that, Trucks were similar in appearance with only slight changes to cabs, hood and grilles, mostly based on the engine requirements. As steel become a huge factor in their supply chain during 1942, the amount of steel used to build a trucks was reduced by Regulation, forcing cabs, hood and fenders to regress to previous generation models. Further cuts meant things like front clips were built without engine access doors or hoods, and cab used more wood; fenders would be flat or eliminated. The standard Japanese military truck was the Type 97, which was capable of carrying a ton and a half of cargo. It was not an especially efficient design, weighing twice its cargo capacity. Early models, many of which were still in use during the war, had too light a front axle design and required constant maintenance. The Japanese Army likely also used large numbers of the Model 94, which shared the type 97's poor power-to-weight ratio but had been thoroughly debugged and was considered highly reliable. Source: Lone Sentry and U.S. War Dept. - Handbook on Japanese Military Forces
The development of this chassis in which the rear 4 wheels drive and the 2 front wheels only steer, has been progressing for more than 15 years. In recent years, an attempt has been made to distribute this vehicle to commercial users, and prior to 1941 a substantial subsidy was paid to private purchasers. Initial difficulties with the final drive now have been overcome, and the vehicle is reliable, although the power-weight ratio is not good. Ground clearance is unusually high, and one or more auxiliary transmissions can be fitted. More powerful Diesel engines than those mentioned in the specifications now may be in use. The chassis of the Model 94 is the basic one for the Japanese Army's armored car. Specifications General..............: Type A (gasoline)....................... Type B (Diesel)

Wittmann: Thankyou for your kind message. It means a lot that you came forward when nothing else has caused you to ever post. I wish we could have had an opportunity to chat long before my illness. Please in the future, do not be a stranger to our community or our members. We are here because the members have a home. We share our ideas and work for the purpose of keeping Blitzkrieg as exciting as it was when we first opened our first box cd. I don't know how long you have been playing, but this not important. You are here and part of the community. We are finding that new players who just bought their first Blitzkrieg Title, enjoy it as much as those of that have been around since day 1. Since you indicated that your have been around for some time, you have read some of the words of some of the most talented people around any game title. This community is so lucky that these guys are here. Even those that do not build maps or objects have a place at the table because they challenge the rest of us to keep pushing the envelope. So never think that your voice is not important to us. In my opinion, there is no such thing as a dumb question here. Yes, we have heard most of them. But many of you have never heard the answers if you have not been playing BK for long. It is difficult for those members to catch up and those of us that have the benefit of having those answers should be willing to share our knowledge. For the most part, the members of this community are a great collection of people from across our planet that would gladly give you the shirt off their back. And those that wouldn't, will certainly let you borrow theirs as long as you need it. Again, thank you for your message and I hope I can assist you in some manner in the future. Major Pain majorpain.one@gmail.com(email)More... Now for all of you other new members are those that have been here for a while... why are you so silent. It is not difficult to come out of the shadows to visit with the people here. I am just sorry that Whittmann was not inspired sooner and he was compelled to write because of my situation. That means a lot if someone just comes to say hello new friend. Perhaps some of us have not urged you to participate, or perhaps I have not done enough to invite you... Here is my invitation to all of you to simply type a few words and tell us you are here. It's not that hard... I promise. I know at times it might appear that some of us bite... but most of us are harmless 99% of the time. And that 1% of the time... we are sleeping. So go for it and see how it feels... I must say something here. I know you guys are out there. I watch as the names log in and log out. When I put new Models on my Mediafire Page, you are some of the very same people that download it in the first week. The last Series had 1000 downloads in the first 72 hours... 3 days. One week after it was posted, it topped 3200 downloads. That is more downloads than we have members here... but perhaps many of those are some of the numerous Guest that come here daily. If anyone tells you that this game does not have a strong base... tell them I say different. It strikes me as I type this that we have all kinds of topics here. But we do not have a Welcome Topic. I'm taking care of that in just a few minutes. Those of you who have never type a message are encouraged to find that and just say hello. Tell us about yourself or what brought you here. I guarantee the guys that have been here for a long time will answer and talk to you. And if they don't, they know what I am capable of... So members, I want to see 20 pages before I get back here in from recovery. I ask one thing, please try to keep it On the Topic, since we strive to do that here. Save questions for specific topics or contact one of us and we'll answer it or direct you to the right place. Thanks all for your participation and all the kind words and inspiration.
