Hey guys,
Legacy of Blitzkrieg has more skin paks than you can shake a stick at. Very confusing to say the least.
What are some of your favorite skins and skin paks?
Who are some of your favorite artists and authors?
Thanks for looking.
Ciao, John

For World War II no doubt: Eisenhan's and Panzermeyer. For airplanes Squire James and Fritz Lang. And for modern conflicts Ice Bear and Alexgeroyamslava.

Hey guys,
Great! You've given me some ideas of who to look for.
But, do you use their textures in each of your unit files or do you use a specific .pak file to create the look? If a .pak file, which is your favorite or favorites?
For example, I like Squirejames' aviation files and Randell's vehicle files. Infantry skins are another matter indeed.
Thanks.
Ciao, John

It's often a matter of taste. Some of them are brighter and gaudier than others. Some are more realistic. Some of them are more appropriate for a certain period of the war, but they're all good. People have put considerable thought and effort into making them.
The funny thing is, after I put a skins pak in for a while I forget that its there and just get used to it. Then I think that it's the norm ....
Maybe I decide, "Hey, I should use the Squire James aviation skins." I put them in, test it out and nothing changes, 'cause I was using them already.

If you guys has any rare, or unreleased skins, please share them with me..they migh come in handy for the IF 3.0 skin collection.
As for the topic: eisenhas is the greatest skinner of all time....but I like the works of panzermeyer, SquireJames, and AndrewT as well.

Maybe we can start posting new skins, I prefer calling them textures, on this board?

SJ, I love your work, always have and always will. Here's an authentic example of US Marine Camo.

Vautour turned out well! I when began that to dye him, but did not complete so, a model is difficult for painting.
