I've had an extremely tumultuous year, and these days new graphics artists have far outpaced me. I still lurk around here occasionally though  No no no, SJ you are still the best. I still want to see your production |

I have used some of your skins for MP units in OA - I think they look good and are very historical correct. Mostly, I have redone the winter skins because I didn't always like the snow upon the skin, but that's just a matter of taste and de gustibus non disputandum est... However, I do not think you're outpaced.

Matilda tank very original. He tower complex transitions, complex composite cannon mask. Body is also interesting. Skirt covering the chassis, heavily fastened rivets.
On models with the high detail that made the MP, all of this can be shown.

I like that you made the sand skirts a separate model part and still modelled the tracks Major. Let's me alpha them out for the Temperate and Winter schemes I shall probably work on the Cromwells and Challenger now, but might I ask a teensy favour? Could you make a Cromwell Mk.I with a 6 Pdr Gun? (and, my memory is fuzzy, did you make a set of Crusaders? And were you planning on a Bishop and an Archer based on your Valentines?) EDIT: Cromwells and Challenger. Also, I found the Crusader but it's a bit odd. It seems to have the Mk.III 6 Pdr mantlet, but a 2 Pdr Gun (and the auxiliary turret that was only really found on the Mk.I. If you prefer, I can build the models without the skirts. ** Cromwell 6 pdr... I can build it. ** I only created the Crusader Mk VI... (Cruiser VI-A). I looked at my notes on the turret and weapon. T he Crusader I (Cruiser Mk VI) was the first production model. The Crusader II Mk (Cruiser VI-A) replaced it... and added armor. The Crusader III was the first to have the 6pdr. So it looks like there are several to build to fill out the Series. I've started but have a couple to go... ** If you want, suggest what you might want to fill this out. I can remove the Auxiliary Turrets... no problem... (See Images)

Also looking out to see SJ's mod but we should give him time to bebug. A bug like half-tracks wandering of could spoil a perfect campaign. Well seems like we have something to look forward to. ' Squire James could you please give us some more info about this capmpaign of yours ? |

Hi Squire JamesCan you please explain how you split the weapon file in AA and normal in Mod help section of this forum. I got Kevin's and Gagarin's adaptation of Major Pain's SdKfz 222. It is made into SPG in anti-aircraft roll. This weekend I have tried to find the right balance between not being to good against aircraft and still be some use against ground forces. You seem to have the solution. In this thread I would love to see the release of your skins for Major Pain Matilda's. |
