GZM - Mareth Line by Simeo Counter-attack repelled, time to go on the offensive again. Not sure smoke shells do anything in this game but I couldn't let my boys just run up the hill without at least attempting to give them some cover. It turned out there were no survivors there from the previous shelling. Aftermath of the counter-attack. The shelling was brutal from both sides. After a tough start, the advantage is slowly turning in my favour. The assault on Mareth starts but the enemy is still well dug in.

I mean, it seems to obscure my field of vision when I tried it, but the enemy seems to be seeing right through it. I tried to shield an engineer APC from anti tank rifle fire by laying down smoke from 8 or 9 guns and a few more mortars and it would get killed almost instantly every time. I tried different patters as well, like using smoke on the enemy's position, using smoke on the APC's position, creating a wall of smoke... nada. So I assume it doesn't work in GZM or only works for the player.

Someone adapted the REAL_SMOKE_SHELL in GZM 9.20, but this is not enough, the FX have to included in the weapons xml too
