Thanks Kevin for pointing out the details.
This Series is very detailed. I decided to build this Series for maps covering October 1944- May 1945. There were 250 M4A3E2 Assault tanks built with thicker armor... These later became known as the Jumbo.
During the same period, Patton was frustrated with German Armor and Guns taking out his Shermans, so he orders all M4s to be Uparmored. Most of these were the M4A3(76) which had replaced many of the M4A1s and M4s, although many of the original tanks were still in use in various Platoons.
M4A1s and M4s were a bit more difficult to up-armor due to the front hoods around the driver and co-driver. Most received frontal plates on the lower hull and transmission cover. The hood armor was increased to 4 inch plates. Side armor was increased 1 inch only on about the front half of the Hull. Turrets were given 1 inch plates in the frontal sides wrapping around to the gun mantlet. Those have not been completed yet. This gave the appearance of the M4 Hybrids produced in 1942-43... with many photos mis-identifying some of these. (Source Hunnicutt)
The Series includes 7 M4A2E2 Assault Tanks with both the 75mm and 76mm guns.
At this time there are 8 M4A3 models that have been Up-Armored including 1 M4A3(75) and 2 M4A3E8(76) "Easy Eight" The Easy Eight had already received extra armor all around including the T23 Turret.
The Easy Eights already in the Theater were given additional frontal armor and turret plates, with these having thickest armor of any tank in Europe at the time, even surpassing the Tiger II. They still had their weak spots but they were a lot harder to kill.
During the final year of the war, Sherman Companies with M36(90) Jacksons embedded and tactics developed by the US tankers with the vast numbers of Shermans the US had manufactured simply overwhelmed German armor and manpower.
I hope to release this Series in about a week or so.
Now I need to mention gagarin's effort on this project. Without his excellent attention to detail, these would not be what they are. He has performed an amazing job and spent countless hours on this project. The skins are amazing and really stand out.
Thank you gagarin!

I bought a new system block. Put the operating system windows 7 - I have now does not open the program "Tanks". Write error - not possible to initialize. - " D3D initialization failed: unable to show anything" Someone tell me how to fix this problem? I do not have to paint units. This program is needed. Damn!

gagarin: Can you load several skins at once and scroll through them with the left/right blue arrows in Tanks?
I have that problem at the moment on my Win7...

The new model Jagdpanther SdKfz173.
There is a new animation, changed some of the individual details, rotating rollers are made (for those who have "gamett.dll" of CSLA). Added model "passengers" sitting in the area the engine compartment. Texture has become "easier", but detail remains high.
Authors models: Trest, Kevin Author source models infantrymen: Major Pain Adaptation тextures for Blitzkrieg: Gagarin
In order protect the "from piracy" authors of the model and textures are inscribed in the map sweep texture.
For the same reason. - This model distributed freely on request in personal messages
