Wow... Who wants BK3 stuff when we've got Major Pain and gagarin's one? Ahhhhh.... wait a minute!!! Do you realize you just gave me a huge load to carry? I do appreciate your support and kind words... but you just made it my fault if BK3 fails... I will never be the same... and will constantly worry about NIVAL's bottom line... in other words ... profit. All we are trying to do is improve BK1... Damn... I need to call NIVAL and tell them I am not trying to affect BK3 in any way... Thanks Kevin for your very kind words and vote of confidence... gagarin is still passed out on the floor from the shock... but he thanks you too... quick... get me the smelling sauce...

About BK3 and MP concerns: Major, sir;
I do not think you should be worried about BK3's fate. It's a very different kind of game, much like younger players enjoy; my son, for one. But, in my view (from what Ive already seen in promo videos), its emphasis on action surpasses tactics and strategy, which are the best features on BK1 (and, perhaps, II).
So, it is targeted to different publics. Similarly to what happened, say, to Civ IV and sequels, that game will be popular into different segments and BK3, as seems to be being developed by Nival, will have to face its proper challenge.
As of BK1 fanatics like us, well, I rather would like to see our version pf BKIII, as was beginning to appear in this forum and seems to have been discontinued. I confess being much, very much, excited about your endeavors with new and reshaped units, and also about promising - rather extraordinarily beautiful - mods like those which are (or has been) created by so many modders that I'd fear be unfair just citing some.
I only hope those fine guys at St. Petersburg (or Petrograd or Leningrad, whatever) be sensitive to this and recover their lost - if ever existed - interest in after sale development. If not, anyway. it's up to this community keep interest on this game alive.
Many of us are already whiteheads and the situations depicted in the game an its innumerable avatars are part of our personal history, and for that, are part of what keeps us also alive.
Keep your great job on and get our utmost respect, nothing less you deserve.

Thank you Mascarenhas2...
You are quite correct... NIVAL's target audience is quite different for BK3. The ever evolving game industry is now trying to find the interest of the players, and new players continue to flood into the market.
BK I has evolved over the years from the humble beginnings. Players soon became interested in the Open Architecture and Platform which led them to try their hand at the creative side of the game. Many of these guys have become great artist and project creators. No other game has ever offered so much to the player.
We know that new people continue to find this game and fall under its spell. With the soon demise of GameSpy, it is unknown how new people interested in Multi Players will find a place to play, unless we lead the way in this community and bring them into the foal.
As many newer players are discovering just in the last year, this community has opened new doors to another kind BK Experience that no one could have ever predicted. And we have only scratched the surface...

i don't know about the market which could have a game for pc, i want mean, i believe lot of people don't purchase what have in own pc. of all people i know and i knowed, and are many folks, at least i've always seen their play to xbox or playstation. then here, where soccer is national sport, it can miss found many followers of the simulation pro evolution soccer (also here, why cool? because it's a real simulation well done). only twice, many years ago, i met a couple of friends who had plaied to age of empire 3, and the other to sid meyers alpha centauri, another irreplicable old title, but for the rest of thousound bilions i've never seen friends or peoples who like and play strategy games in general. i'm not an expert but i think, if about market we talking about, they should focus on people who like and are passionate to a kind of game because they are the only who could buy the game ahaha ... i think ... why they don't compare for example, how much copies they sold of BK and PK in germany rather BK2 or this BK3 in the next 10 years ... what kind of market could have a game for pc, and in this kind a strategy game for pc? maybe in the other countries is different ... i hope ahah

Lets stay on topic..Why don't we move this discussion to the BK III threat? I have my opinion as well, but rather do it there.

Represent more than one texture "Jumbo" from the series Major Pain.
In this series more than 15 models and each of them with their differences.
