trenches have 0 cover protection for inf. in XML all coverage is set to 1 coverage 1 = zero inf protection coverage 0 = 100% inf protection I am setting mine at 0.7 to give the men some cover as they should have.

Olvie Sir i like your style of realistic map design I am no Sir but thanks for the kind words! Doing my best to give the map an authentic look and feeling. On the downside, it's been taking a very long time

Yep, I'm still working on my Stalingrad map. I'm spending much less time on it right now compared to earlier this year, with the nice weather and pubs and beer gardens opening for the first time. But, as a little milestone, I have reached the banks of the Volga, as I hope you will too in the not so distant future

I would like to rescript the firts mission of the Add-On Green Devils. This mission involves a scout/sniper making the while mission far too easy, even for a moderate player like me. Therefore I'm looking for a unit that can replace the sniper. This unit should have the same properties as the scout (camouflage, viewing range,.....) but should be unarmed. Does anyone know where I could find such unit ? I could probably change the 1.xml file of the unit and disable the rifle but then the sprite would still cary a gun.

Why not use an officer? Not unarmed but only armed with a pistol?

One thing it seems, after all these years, is still a nuisance is the frequent freezing and crashing of the e3xecutable, not only when running Mods but even at vanilla missions. I think a way of circumventing this could be an autosave function, say at each 10-15 minutes, in order to allow the player not to waist much time as is usual. In my case, the hottest the battle, the less I remember to save and, alas, here comes the crash. Is someone capable of scripting such a function?
