Excellent post by Scyooff, except in French

While checking the boards, I noticed on the 8th of November, Scyooff posted and excellent post in French on patches ect for the various games we play.

I tried to use the translator on it but was unsuccessful. it looked full of information that any noobie or veteran might need.

Is this thread available in English?  It looked really worthy of a "sticky" if we have such a thing.

First of all, this topic is to help people failing to find patches of stand-alone graphics engine based on Blitzkrieg (Enigma engine). I highly recommend reading (in most cases, translate) the readme files in the archive or in self-executable (.exe) files. Not to my knowledge, i did this more than one year ago on the french forum "Le Clan des Officiers" you can see the original post here.

I must warn you that the patches for BK1.0 and BH are only in french languages.

This week i was thinking to separate the post in two parts because when i tried to add the pictures that you can see in the original post the presentation was always changed (font sizes, boldface who disapear).
And add the recommendation to change the install path.

I'm also working on another post for giving the MB and MK patches available.

If anyone want to translate it in his own language i can provide a .doc file and the pictures from the game boxes (some are the french versions).

It's because the links are integrated to the texts, to copy them : right click on the link with your mouse and "copy the adress of the link"
i use firefox, but normally it's nearly the same process with another web browser.

Yup..it is ..that's 'cause it's straight copy/paste from the English.
If you use  Google Chrome just add google translate to your add ons and it will translate any page automatically from any language you want into English...works on the Forum as well...the original translation looks just like scyooffs and the links are hot....Firefox works as well

I always loved the great black and white movies made during WWII. "A walk in the Sun", "They were expendable", "Guadalcanal Diary" ect.
