I've been playing the SP campaign in Stalingrad, and I started with the German campaign as was suggested in the manual. One of the first things I noticed was that the supply trucks, engineer trucks and repair vehicles did not automatically go to an available depot when they are out of supplies. I assuming this was by design because in BK if the supply depot was not a straight shot through secured territory, and if you weren't paying attention, you could easily lose one, or more, of those vehicles, as I did on several occasions! But the reason for this thread is that I just finished playing a Russian mission, the first one that was in-city fighting, and my Russian engineer/repair tank went looking for the supply dump! That really surprised me. Another thing I've noticed about the engineer/repair tank is that the supply meter, never goes down, but it will run out of supplies. Is this a bug that was never addressed?? Thanks!

The T-34 engineering tank displays its MG ammo, and not how much 'supply' is left. It's there, but you can't see it.
Finally, a lot of maps in Stalingrad do not have any supply depots/ammo dumps whatsoever, so once your trucks are empty, they are empty for good. Take good care of your supplies.

Yes, I noticed that for the Germans, the only way to resupply is to capture a Russian supply dump, if there is one! Quite challenging! But the game does provide reinforcements. if you need them, which almost always have a few supply trucks. I would imagine that was pretty close to reality considering the Germans were always on the move and static supply depots were way behind the lines. So trucks were the only source of supplies. That was pretty much the same issue for Patton's 3rd Army I believe on their drive through France.
