Campaign picture ghange

Hi
I need to ghange the Gampaign picture that is shown in the beginning of the Campaign( map_c.dds).?
I have a pic that is in the jpg format and i need to replace it to the campaign screen.
How is this done exactly? Now i have only white screen in there..

here general instructions recently posted by P(ain)

anyway, in brief
download GIMP and its plug-in for the dds format
make a copy of the dds you need as base and open it with GIMP
copy the jpg in the dds and export as dds
(if you need to add textes, you must export the result in jpg, then copy that jpg with textes in the dds you use as base)
... nothing of much simple .. keep it ...

Finlander....  you mention the   map_c.dds...


Are you not running Hi-Res?

xx_c.dds images are not Hi Res...

You should be using xx_h.dds files

Major, i will use h,l,and c .dds as soon as i get the gimp. I did this already some years ago but it seems i have forgotten how!
