Hi there,
I have a few skin packs added to the burning horizon data folder. But they don t get displayed.
Do you have an idea why ?

yes, they are Pak files. I did the same like I did with the normal BK folder. And yes I use Anthology.

What's the date of the pak file ?
Try this.
Change the extention of the pak file to .zip
Open the zip file and make some changes to it (add a file and the remove it again)
save the zip again
change the zip extention to pak again.
The date of the pak file should be changed to today.
Now try BH again and check if the pak file loads.
Make sure to backup your original pak file first.

the date is 10.2006. I tried it. (with winrar) But it did not work. The date was changed.

but the date can t be the reason since I added a much older mod also, which is loaded.

The ostfront_skins was for the Heimatfront mod but works with BK too for all that you don't put another skinpack for the same units, you wouldn't see one of the two skins, normally the most recent created is displayed. And about the JC Axis skins : well they works for me, can you take a screenshot of your data folder please ?  |

oh, and there is one more thing. The skins of the mod I am using are not displayed as well. But the mod itself works.

Because i'm at my workplace i can really check tonight but in first let just ostfront_skins, remove the JC skins and the la plata service pack gold from your data folder, i think La plata SPG skins are the more recent ones, reason for the others aren't displayed ingame.
Edit : oh and this is not the date of the .pak files that the games take in count but the date of the .dds files.

Guys this Folder is another example about too many Pakfiles referring to Datafolder im discussing about.
My Studies will soon come to a final Result, but one Thing is clear-its complicating things only

I think it's not so much the number of pak files that matter but the way they way they are organized.
