Map editor 1.4.exe problems

For some reason whenever i try to run the ME 1.4.exe it WILL not pop up. Is there any reason why this is happening? Help or tips would be appreciated.

I managed to discover that the problem was my computers admin/firewall due to it being "unkown". I disabled this security and it works. Still odd to me..

fofofo: also the game its crashing in the guadalcanal mission like 2 minutes afther i repeel the first counter atack on the airfield Aug 26, 2024 23:27:33 GMT 1

fofofo: the game crashes in the first mission of guadalcanal afther i take the airfield and get some reinforces the marine animations got messed up and afhter like 2 or 3 mins crashes Aug 27, 2024 20:06:08 GMT 1
