Dear friends,
In the last two years many things have changed on our forum. Less people joined our community, and less contributions are made. Recently our moderator Major Pain passed away. Now we are in a process of how to continue this forum. My idea is to focus more on a dynamic forum, with more members, more contributions and discussions concerning the game.
I have some ideas about how we can built on new projects and ideas. I can't do this on my own and much help and dedication will be needed. About my ideas, I will write in near future. One of the suggestions I want to do now, is to get the forum back on the track again. In other words; the focus must be on the game and everything what is relevant in relation to it...
Quite some members left the forum, because the focus became more and more on a 'social media' kind of group. This was never the purpose of Blitz Srbija! Blitz Srbija was founded as a continuation from BLITZKRIEG PORTAL. A very large community, and 'serious business'.
Therefore, in all my wisdom, I created a private group on Facebook: 'Blitz Srbija FB'. www.facebook.com/groups/1020143971372831/?ref=bookmarks The purpose of this is to give way to a more social discussion room, where less relevant things can be discussed, and all not relevant gif. jpeg, and other sort of clips can be posted. In this way, the forum gets more attractive and more transparent.
I hope my idea is worth the effort!

@von Osten
Good initiative. What also would help if all threads were made public. The question do what more members (reason to not make public, "you have be member to see this") or have active members. If we want the later the hiding things isn't helping I.M.H.O.

i hope your idea can find someone else. maybe many people have to discover yet the Game. anyway i've always felt as a rare minority, people who play strategy games. then in the era of the new, i don't know how many more people consider the best ww2 game of the world ever done just because is old of more of 10 years. to reach others could be a good channel.
me, i don't have facebook or any other social networks .. but don't worry, i can spend my time in many different ways.

ariete, The old Portal had it's Hence, there is no reason to excluded on the present Blitz Srbija Forum. However, more younger member use FB for this and hence it is a good thing that vonosten make this available as well. Even if FB nothing for me and you. And I support Von Osten that main focus of the forum should be on BK and things related to BK. But the forum is and was always a social network and hence there should be room for social interaction. Just making all threads on the forum open for the public to see would already bring the balance a little back to BK.

I support your initiative vonosten. I almost dont read forum anymore because its full of off topic posts and reading them is waste of time. First of all I think we should change structure of this forum. Merge some sub-forums together (for example all BK2 subforums into 1 subforum), remove some useless ones, unlock modding subforum for visitors, put kursk subforum somewhere on top (its one of the most important subforum) and finally move every thread to subforum where it should be (please dont mix modding with general discussion together).
Edit: Some threads need cleaning as well. For example latest releases are total mess....

In past I made a page like this on this forum, Keep.. But it was not apreciated. People sometimes regard is as critic on them from my side. But thats not it. Even now when people say: 'I not like FB'. In fact, thats not my concern. I just try and make efforts for the better of it. I try to give examples of how we can do better and keep the site alive. If other people have better ideas, I invite them to take initiative as well.

“The transfer of power” sounds for me not right.. A moderator ‘keeps’ the site, makes just decisions, but is not in ‘power’; we are, as a community
vonosten, all right! Family of the deceased has no relation to the forum Blitz Srbija. It is only right to dispose of its resources are here. Wittmann, excuse me, but - go in the ass!

Yeah totally agreed with vonosten! I missed someone with statements like this on the forum, we are the community and MP is not the boss of the forum. He was not even the owner or admin and his family does not inherit the forum (thats what i sound like for me). Imo we should keep out private business from bs and concentrate on the neccessary things to keep the forum running!
